| Post subject: | Photos on my camera - what sort and how many? |
Hey all, This is quite a dumb question, but... So I'm starting to carry my camera around, and have some photos on it, but I'm not sure which ones to put on. It sort of seems good if they are recent, and that's not a problem, but there are also some really good ones from a while back (12-18 months) that I want to keep on if I can... Or am I deluding myself in that respect? So types of photo. It seems to me the photos should show social proof, emoting, and also that I'm an interesting adventurous guy. That's easy. But how many? I have literally hundreds from just the last 2 years. That might be too many. But is 30 or 40 or 50 too many to have "left on my camera"? Relatedly, how do I explain that these photos are still on my camera? Thanks! P Edit: PS: I guess it's also really good if I can use the photos to launch into a story, rather than just "this is me, standing by a cool place in Germany". Also it seems to me that if they're too obviously selected to make me some perfect that it won't work, so a few duds/fillers while they scroll through what's on the camera... What else should I be looking for in the photos? Edit 2: PS: I have lots of photos of good looking girls that I was travelling with too, e.g. them swimming at the beach, stuff like that. Should I include those photos, even if I'm not in the photo? |

Leave 'em all in. Just eliminate the really embarrassing ones, if there are any. Or leave them in, whatever. Don't pull out your camera until after you've told the story. If you pull it out sooner, it looks tryhard. Finish the story, and be like, "ooh, I took a picture of it..." and then go through and find the pic. The girl might want to look at the other pics too... then just flip through and tell stories about all the pics. |

And this, by the way, is a great time to escalate kino. When she's holding your camera looking at the pictures, put your arm around her while you point at them explaining the stories. |
