I wear a express dress shirt with jeans and a sick tie. Girls are always asking." I love the tie! Why are you wearing a tie?" etc.. I just can't think of a cool thing to say. My usual response was, "becgause I like to dress pimp" but I knew that was lame and changed it to " Because its a great conversation starter..see" Whats a good response |

i dont wear tie as casual (reasoning beacuse i went to catholic school my whole life but aside the point) but as long as you dont look like a tool with it on its cool. i get this sometimes cause i wear sweater, dressshirts, etc... i always say guy or girl "because I take alot of pride it the way I present myself." or "beacuse i take more pride in the way i present my appearence." |

It's not about what you say textually, it's what's in the subtext that counts. If a woman comes up to you and says "Ooo, I like that [insert any conversational piece of clothing]," she doesn't really care about the answer at all. She uses this as a situational way to approach you because she is interested in you. This way she can still come across as the one being chased, and not chasing you, because she is 'genuinely' curious about your tie (no, she really isn't). If you get a girl approaching you, even if it seems harmless such as in this situation, she is in to you. It is on. You can simply dismiss it, "thanks." Then go into conversation with her. You don't want to talk about it because she will get bored, and she really doesn't care. Just run solid game and prove to her that you are the high value male she was hoping you would be. In most cases when approached like this, you should go kino RIGHT away. Hug her and be like "awww, you're cute." You can bypass a lot of the attraction building stuff and quickly move on to demonstrating attraction towards her, 'hitting on her,' because she is already into you. Obviously don't be sleazy about it or give generic complements "you're beautiful, etc..." Again, you don't need to explain yourself, and you shouldn't anyways. Just jump into accelerated game right away, playa. (This is the main reason that every PUA should wear at least one thing that is different enough to be asked about) |

plethora is spot on there... a tie is the only "peacocking" item i use, really. girls often approach me either complimenting me or asking why i'm wearing one. hb: nice tie me: thanks =) i got it from an eskimo when i saved his igloo from rabid penuins (go into A2/A3, depending on how keen she seems) hb: why are you wearing a tie? me: why not?/ actually, i was about to ask you why you aren't/ because i can etc etc (start at A2) |

Yeah, the short answer to this question is: "Why aren't you?" There are a hundred other longer answers: "A gentleman always wears a tie," "'Cause I'm a classy motherfucker" (the point of that, of course, being in the humor of the subversion and the shock of hearing it out of a guy in a tie), "'I beat up some rich guy in the alley out back," some long colorful story about winning it off someone in a poker game, blah blah blah... Not damn thing wrong with what you're doin, nope. I myself often hit the town rockin Expresswear and a badass tie. I clean up very well. Never fails to get noticed. Wrote some thoughts here a while back on peacocking via formal dress. I think overall it makes a lot more sense and (my theory goes, anyway) is more effective (at least for people newer to PUA) at grabbing positive attention right off the bat. |

Off the top of my head : HB: " whats with the tie?" C&F : " I forgot my handcuffs!" with a smile   alternatively you could say C&F : " be creative and answer that for me"  - dont forget to make her work for your attention. You can neg her on her responses  to move on with game and allow her to not look too needy in approaching you.J1f |

Your absolutely right about about the reason they are asking about the tie, its pointless blabber, they are just attracted to me and it gives them an excuse to talk to me. Thanks for the responses, keep um coming. So far I have a response of, " Because I am a classy..motherfucker...Why aren't you?" |
