In one of my classes last year, it became apparent that a few guys in the class were trying to work their charm on one girl in particular (one guy made it obvious). I never really knew her at the time, so I wasn't sucked into this whole equation. Of course, this means that we're in two classes together this semester (both are hands-on classes). For the first half of the term, we talked a little bit, but not a whole lot. However, as time went on, we talk every class. As I got to know her, I realized that, despite her HB 8.5 looks, that's not the reason why she's attractive. She is not like most college girls...she's responsible, not slvtty at all, she can hold a conversation and she's overall pretty cool. I can make her laugh, I use some C+F, she likes to slip in some jokes on her own (which catch me off-guard), and we really seem to get along well. This is all good, but she's a friendly person and as I mentioned earlier, she's probably not without suitors. The key for me...separating myself from the rest. I've completely been myself - for better or for worse, it does distinguish me from the others. I'm very upbeat, outgoing, witty and I have no fear/nervousness during our interactions. I'm sure I've slipped up on a thing or two, but nobody's perfect and atleast I'm not trying to be someone else. If you want me to describe my persona, I'm somewhat similar to the Apollo Creed character from the Rocky movies. I have 3 or 4 more classes with her this semester. I hope we'd be able to keep in touch over break (we exchanged numbers), but I'd like to make a statement before then, as in hanging out away from the classroom and seeing how that goes. The two problems: She is 21, I am 20 (I can't get into bars) and there's not much time for anything to really happen, as finals start in two weeks (neither of our two classes have finals). I'm sure she'll be busy studying, as will I once finals study period rolls around in a week and a half. So...any other tips on distinguishing myself from the rest of the pack, and how do I approach this limited time situation? |

The second question I have, the "How do I make a move with very limited time?" is probably more important. Ny being myself, I don't think I'm just like "every other guy," but if AFC's keep trying to ask her out and she keeps saying no, I don't want to be mixed in with them too (just because I'd be another suitor). Regardless, I need some insight here, I'm going to be seeing her VERY SOON, so I'd appreciate any help. |

Statements don't work, you need to get her IL level up, you need to build attraction. You are heading in the right direction by keeping cool and being upbeat, but you need to work on the 'seduction'. Has she shown you any IOIs? They may be subtle, so keep your eye out. Age isn't a problem if you can get her IL up. If a girl is really into you, it doesn't matter where you are. A bar, a library, a restaurant...all she will want is to be in your presence, but only if you can get her to that point. Stop putting time constraints on yourself, the seduction can continue even after she has gone. Will she be within driving distance? If not, no worries, find another girl to game during your break, but continue to seduce her from a distance until she returns. |
