| Post subject: | Best tips for first night? |
I'm a newbie and on Friday, me and a friend are going to go out to this pub where we intend to start sarging. My question is this: Where do we begin? We could easily jump in and recite the material we've learnt but there's got to be more to it that that. So what advice can you give me, a socially awkward kinda guy, when he's going to go out to play on Friday night? |

you have to be confident in yourself and the material. A girl can easily tell if your just reciting things or your just not comfortable or confident and then its a loss. You actually have to believe you can do it. Other than that be creative and have fun. Sometimes I purposely mess up the 1st approach just to get a laugh out of myself and it makes me looser for the rest of the night but that's just me. Find a comfort zone and stick to it and you'll do great. |

try doing the newbie 1st day thing or w.e its called the day of, before you all go out. go somewhere where theres lots of people and just say hi to eveyr1 guy girl old people etc. you may even end up unintentionally striking a convo with someone. i do this sometimes, well i always do this at school, but it helps me out out alot to loosen up by just simply saying hi and asking how every1's doing. but ya, do whatever you have to do to be comfortable with whoever your talking to, have lots of energy and just have fun and make sure whoever your talking to is having as much fun as you are. make sure to have that charisma! |
