Hey, Been thinking about this a lot recently. I've been told I'm a "nice guy" loads of times and gets on my nerves abit. And therefore rather than coming across as attractive I seem to give out this nice friendly vibe. This hasnt bothered me too much until : I know this girl from back home in Yorkshire, last year she moved to Manchester to study at uni and last week I asked her for a drink / date / meet up for a drink. Everything was going really well, and when I stepped things up a notch i got the "nice guy" speech and things kinda just slowed down. The same thing applies to some other girls iv met up with a couple of times recently, before i even get to know them i seem to wind up being friends with them, and thats it. no attraction. I guess im just looking on things to do. Say I wanted to push things up a notch, how would i go about doing it? I'v read that the best thing to do is to change my style bit, dress, grooming etc to show that i CAN be a desirable person and more than just a friend. Or am i best to sack it off completely and go for someone that I know im not just going to wind up being friends with. That may seem abit scattered but I hope you can make sense of it, Cheers, Matt |

Yep, I know what you're feeling. The one thing that swayed me to get into PU was when a male friend told me I was the nice guy that girls like and feel at ease with but no more. And then I thought about it, and I have an almost unhealthy amount of female friends. I think you need to be more of a 'threat', if that's not too strong a word. I downloaded a free pdf on PU and it had a section about bad boys, and why it is women find them attractive. Interesting theory. I can't remember where I found the link, it was on this forum somewhere, but I can upload it /email it for you if you can't find it. |
