hi guys,

just wondering what you guys think of my "plan". theres this really hot 10, working at a mall. I figured i'd do this... tell me if its too cheesy...

Me: Hey, would you mind helping me with something over here for a sec...?
10: Sure...
Me: To be honest, I don't wanna play any games with you :-) I like you, and thought I'd see if you'd wanna go out sometime... would you be interested? :-)

lol... tell me i'm not dreaming and this might work? or should I do the old,"i''m trying to pick out a gift for a close friend and need your opinion", neg, pickup... n-close :-)

It could work, but you have to have serious confidence and strong inner game. Even still you are leaving more up to chance. The indirect approach has a lot less to do with chance and a lot more to do with your game.

If you convey the dominant, playful, alpha status, then go for it. If not you should work on gaining some rapport first before trying to # close.

to asnwer you, I guess I could say I'm fairly confident, and would able to make the direct approach seem natural and playful :-)

just dont want it to blow up in my face. then i'd be like... damn, wasted chance

To be honest, when I did stuff like this before I always got told they had a boyfriend. I identified the reason for this - I was going for the close too soon. Instead, I'd advise that you approach direct and have some normal conversation and get to know her a little before you close her. For example, borrow her for a sec and be like "I'm not here to buy anything, I actually just thought you were gorgeous and wanted to come get to know you... so how's it going?". After you have some coversation and find a real reason to go out with her besides the fact that she's hot, then you may close. It's far more genuine this way, the way you're thinking of playing it is fine but you'll get turned down because she'll think you only wanna get her number and get outta there without finding out who she is. For all she knows you could be approaching tons of girl like that, so spend some time with her and figure out something cool you could do together before you get her number.

i'd go indirect, and after that go direct by admitting you talked to her cuz she is your type.

wow, so many ways... so little time... :D

everyone has great suggestions, I'm just sure what to do now.

I actually took a drove there just then! I couldn't handle waiting till Friday, wanted to do it NOW... lol! Got ready, went all the way there, went in... and the store was PACKED with customers... i mean PACKED. plus, I strolled around, and couldnt find her anywhere so I bailed.

I'll go again on Friday. probably try 10am ish...

WTF is this outdated bullshit?
Don't listen to that. Solomon II is on point. The guys I quoted above are basically saying "Yeah that direct game sounds fine but use indirect game at the same time." It makes no logical sense and it pisses me off to see old Mystery Method material continuing to brainwash kids into not getting laid even to this day. Sure, MM works for Night Game, but it never works when you're trying to combine both direct and indirect methods. That's really incongruent and comes off as very insecure.

lol, true. I might have oneitis... hahaha

it's just that I saw her Friday before the last week, and I couldn't get my mind off her. hell, I've got 3 exams for college starting tomorrow, and I can't focus cause all I'm seeing is this gorgeous blonde! lol!

so what do you think, go in direct, AND say i think she's gorgeous?

To be honest I'd never try this if I knew she and I were sober. And chief is right, indirect and direct is bad unless you want a fake five digit number and a sudden excuse to leave.

I think the technique would work under Solomon's version, its definitely a bad thing to start out with.
