| Post subject: | Found a 9 on Facebook - thread 2 |
So let me just post this again. This is the second thread on this subject as i didn't get a single reply to the last one. How come? Stupid question, no solution or just the fact that everybody is plainly out of interest in this subject. I pasted it over but i didn't copy over the smileys, so i've left them out of the entire thread for lazyness Though a friend i've found a 9 on Facebook who i had some contact with 2 years ago though a former female friend. When i added her on Facebook i wrote to her asking in she remembered me and she did. She is a 9 or something, but i guess she is lacking confidence in a way. She probably has 1000 approaches like any other girl with her looks, but she isn't really that smart, which i think she lacks confidence because of. I did a neg, but i'm not sure it was a good thing - just trying to stand out in the crowd. But she replied to my first two mails only although i believe my second message was better than other AFCs saying "So, how you've been?" BTW: I met her around a time when her boyfriend had dumped her for not sleeping with him, and her, our common friend and i when to the town and try to see if it could help her. She, without a doubt, was so happy for my comforting that she almost hit on me - i tried to be genuin and not exploit it. Here's the messages translated: Me Hi Heidi A little memory check if you remember me. Clue: Invited you over for {prepared} pizza ) Stay cozy [danish expression used from time to time] Heidi Hehe yes i do remember ;p Thank you for last time? (: [using question marks everywhere] Me Yes, you too ) I most take my hat off for you [i believe you use that expression aswell, like being respectful] since it is the fewest people who can handle a night out the very same day their boyfriend/girlfriend [in danish we have a common word for both] leaves them. I don't hope it backfired to go partying rather than staying home, but i've always thought it to be better to get out among other people in such a situation rather than being home alone with a friend... Heidi hehe well is it that long ago? thanks a lot how are you doing? Me - doing negs and trying other topics than AFC "How are you doing?" Yes, everything is great here (as people always say) [in Denmark we never say anything differently or else we will be looked down upon] ) Well, there isn't much to complain about except a sports injury that might be so serious that i'm sport disabled but let's see what the doctor has to say about it when i go there for a check. Besides eveything is great ) [was this a bad move?] I see you are now in a band/chorus [she was a great singer] - congratulations on that. You were very sad when i last met you so i never heard you sing but Mette [our common friend who i was in love with when i was an AFC] has said several times you are great so i guess you'd earned it... On the other side, you haven't proven anything for me Hehe. Are you doing well with the band? But take good care of Mette, i don't count of being notified that something happened to her whilst you were around [showing careness for my friends and also former friends] So what happened here? Reading it over several times i'm not that surpriced she didn't write back, but...: 1) What should i have done differently? 2) How do i continue from here? I know i probably come out as an AFC if i write another message to her, but i would rather do that than not doing anything |

I most say it was a gamble, but i just didn't want to get a boring conversation. You know, just like approaches some girls get tons of mails through Facebook, and i just needed to stand out somehow. How would you have started it? Just to try a final gamble as i'm never gonna see her again otherwise, what should i write to her in order to get a chance of her writing back. Just as a final gamble, which i consider better than doing nothing |

I've had a really amazing week, and i've got her acceptance to join me at a karaoke game later this week... maybe (but she definately sounded interesting - in the message she sended me Thx a lot for your help, i did exactly what you said and i worked perfectly. Regarding the perfect last few days i've had, please read my (currently) last two posts in this following link - it really gives you confidence when you have so much girl contact that you can't remember one of them who is an 8 (see link for further details) viewtopic.php?p=183350#183350 |
