Hey guys, been doing alot of reading and no sarging which actually this posting is about. You see I feel like I wanted to learn as much as possible from well everything. I have tons of books and things about this stuff. I dont have a problem reading them but I take notes on them all and it takes about a week or so for a standard 200 page book. I take really detailed notes to not forget the concepts. I read MM, now im on Magic Bullets. My original idea was to read all these different idea books that are on different ideas and methods to pickup. Not only for my benefit but I was planning to PDF it and actually share with the commuinity as was something you could get every concept down from one source. But heres the thing. I have this feeling that I will never be ready to do Day Game (Direct approach and since I am only 18 this is pretty much all I can do) until all these books are read. It seems I feel that I will miss some Invaluable item in one of the books if I start sarging now, than if I waited and learned it all a little bit later. I can tell I have quite a bit of inner game issues it seems as now that I look back on my past I have been the loaner for 18 years and now that I want to change I have alot of "feedback" that I think that things wont go smoothly if I dont have all this info. I guess is what Im asking is what I should do. But then again I already know it I just wont "fess up" to what challenge it brings. Im reading The way of the Superior Man now and that should help. I also got a tape that makes you more confident by putting you in trance. But then again I cant get into that state no matter how many times I try. |

stop making excuses and get out in the field. you're scared of failure but you need to accept that you WILL bomb out initially, just as everyone else has. you cant expect to shred like James Hetfield if you've never picked up a guitar. there's nothing wrong with reading and making notes (i'm busy compiling a bit of a document too)... but all that is worth nothing if you dont use it. it's like going to cooking class and ordering pizza every night. fucking pointless. get out, open sets, bomb out and open again. you can read every book ever written but you will still bomb out because you havent practiced and internalized anything and you have no idea how to calibrate your techniques etc. you will suck at the beginning but the good news is that you will only get better! someone posted on this forum (i'm paraphrasing now) "there's no such thing as failure, only lessons learned". keep that in mind. |

Reading too much will just confuse you. Trust me, once you start approaching women and going on dates etc. all that shit flies straight out the window. On my first cold approach, all I could hear was heart beating in my ears. It really felt like my heart had leapt into my throat, and I was struggling not to choke on it. No shit... Incidentally, she actually reacted quite well but I was such a wreck I bailed out. (I can't help but laugh at how confused she must have been having a guy come up to her, tell her she was really cute, chat for a few minutes, then fuck off for no apparant reason!). You presumably don't live in a bubble, so whenever you are talking to a girl, ANY GIRL, remember: eye contact and smile. DRILL THAT INTO YOUR BRAIN. Women will almost always do the same in return, especially if you are in a neutral environment eg. she's a shop clerk or waiteress, and it will build your confidence enourmously. |

i agree with Hxc89x you need to go out in the field. just like a sport you can read about how to play it and what rules are entailed but you wont be able to do it physicaly unless you go out there. Work on your AA and do the newbie missions and from there build on it. The first time me and my buddy went out to game girls (back in 2001) i had AA like a mofo. My lines where coming out way wrong, My AFC side was just taking over. But once i got over it all, things started to go more smoothly. The goal is to find something that works best for you and your game. You can read and try to absorb all the info but it might not work for the Game you want. Knowing all the routines, ways skills is good but choose what works best for you. What works best for me might not work for you. Its all about trial and error and to figure that you need to Head out to the field and Play. |
