How do you initiate Kino without seeming weird? Let's say to a girl you've seen but only recently started interaction. Or Somebody you met at a Club or Karaoke Bar... God that was awkward. Any general rules? I know a lot of this is up on the Forum but I thought maybe someone could help me understand it better. |

If it is awkward for you, then it might be as awkward to her too x10, you get a free pass to touch her whenever she laughs or if she starts to touch you first. If you are comfortable she will be comfortable too x10. Women are really adoptive and they will match up with your state if you can stand her test and her trying to out-frame you. |

I've thought about this too and I want to field test this pattern: Me: Hi there, I'm from [insert town, city or country] but most people think I'm from [and again], how weird is that? HB: Yeah, I guess that is, blah blah Me: Well anyway, enough about me how about you? *And on the cue of 'you', touch her arm*. Where would you love to live? Well I think it's smooth... Or I love the show Seinfeld, and there's this thing Elaine does when someone says something fascinating or exciting - she says "get out of here!" (in the context of a kind of "no way?" expression) and playfully pushes whoever said it. I might try that too at some point. |

I was out in the field with a wing. Agreed that I would open a 3-set wearing pink hats. Approached and opened with a "hi, what's the occasion?" to which I found out it was a birthday for one of them. Gave my bday wishes and asked how old. Before she told me I decided I'd try the "get out of here!" reaction. My wing said it looked a bit forced, and it was more of slap/push hybrid to her arm. I guess it's because I thought about it too much and hesitated. It needs to be more automatic. But she was still interested and wanted to know how old I thought she was etc. So I think this is a good way to get kino involved. |

When you're dropping a pattern, DHV story, teasing, eliciting values or using her trance words, back it up with kino. What I do is start by touching the nearest arm, just in a casual way. then at the next opportunity, touch the nearest shoulder then between the shoulder blades then the lower back then the hips I only touch once as if to punctuate the verbal game, one second is enough. Hold eye contact as you deliver your game and kino. You will find that women respond very positively to this and unconsciously kino you back, touching your arms, stomach or chest. These I consider IOIs. Interestingly, I went to the zoo and I saw the chimpanzees grooming eachother using a similar pattern to what I use. They start grooming the arms, then the shoulders, then the back and then the lower back. |

Pretty interesting, regarding those Chimps. Very animalistic.

so, are you saying that you have monkey game? sorry man, i just had to but yes, kino escalation, as i understand it should be natural and comfortable. fortunately, i'm naturally a touchy person and dont ever consciously think about kino, i just do it, but patterns i've noticed that i tend to follow are for the most part as Zarathustra described above. arm, shoulder, back, lower back, hip etc... |
