I dont consider myself TERRIBLY short but short enough to the point where it brings my confidence down.

I can go months without it affecting me then BAM! outta nowhere some RANDOM chick looks at me and says, "Your really short." even though im taller than her...It really pisses me off bc im not insecure about it for months then outta nowhere this happens.

It seems to always be when im in a group setting and im the life of the party so to speak. I work the room GREAT and not doing anything to piss anyone off but still pushing it, then the bitch in a random girl im not even talking to will say really loud that im short.

Honestly, its weird. I used to defend myself by ripping the girl apart, which i am AMAZING at but thats just not the mature or COOL thing to do.

It happen this past weekend and it was just so random but everyone laughs. I wasnt even talking to this girl.

So basically what im trying to get at is a way to be cocky n funny or SOMETHING to say back that she laughs and EVERYONE does too.

quick bio: im a very goodlooking guy, or so i have been told since highschool and girls have WANTED me BAD...put it this way, I never TOUCHED alcohol until I was 19...I need stepped foot at a party... starting at age 15 or 16 when i got a TON of attention from chicks to the age 18 I had already made out with at least 100 girls, f***ed 20 something...I dont care what you say, doing that in a two year period without partying and just picking up girls EVERYWHERE I went...i mean EVERYWHERE, is impressive...all my guy friends just laughed at me everytime bc i got whoever i want..

So i know the looks and confidence are there but wtf? why do random girls keep saying this shit and what do i say back?!?!?

I am 5'7 pushing 5'8 :?:

Sometimes, I think there's no getting through to "short" guys.
My best friend is 5'7" and he gets laid more than I do. Yet, he's always bitching about his height, and how he thinks women view him as subhuman or something.

If a woman is so shallow that she rejects you just because of your height, do you honestly want to have her in your life?

You deserve better than some one-dimensional, label-whore.

And besides, a woman just walking up to you and saying that means she's probably interested in you.

Yeah man, I'm 5'8" too, and Germans are a tall bunch. I rarely ever hear someone blurt it out like that, but whenver I have and I've been feeling surly, I'd reply to the "you're really short" line with "and you're wearing too much makeup" or "well, my growth was stunted by spending too much time around girls like you who wear too much perfume" or something like that. But like you said, that's not cool or classy, and it leaves a bad vibe (especially if she throws her drink at you...).

I admit, I'm still a work-in-progress when I get hit by this, because it often strips me of any game I have and puts me back into my AFC shell for hours (if not the whole night). However, I'm trying to focus on staying cool and maybe saying things which stay a little more positive but still try to use humour:

- Really? In Japan all the girls said I was ENORMOUS!
- Lucky for you too. God decided that if he made me one inch taller, it would be unfair for you and the world. At least now you have a chance, although you're really going to have to "woo" me.
- You're pretty short too (no matter how tall she is). I'm really only interested in girls that are at least this tall (put hand just above her head).
- Something along the lines of what danieltx said above.

Ah well, I don't know if this kind of approach will work, but I like the idea of staying a cool when it comes up. In the worst case, she's just a bitch, so I can give her the finger, turn around, and keep having a good time with my friends. I think in all, it's really a mental thing, and the key is to not let it disrupt you.

Germans are certainly tall. :lol:


In general girls prefer guys between 5'10 to 6'3". Saying that its not that hard to over come that height "requirement". As all it really takes it being confident with your height when you approach girls and the "requirement" is gone.
