| Post subject: | Totally Dropped The Ball What Should I Do Next Time? |
I went and played Cozy's Bar and Grill last night at their Open Blues Jam. I totally rocked the place to the floor, shook everyone up and got a big applause, lots of hand shakes, ect. People genuinely enjoyed my performance, made me feel that good ol' invincibility coming back, that was, until I saw her. There was this cute girl in a black dress with her not so good looking friend. The friend was alright, but this girl in the black dress, she had this cute, bookish face that made her look a little out of place, but in a good way, with shoulder length brunnette hair. Anyways, I melted, I wanted to approach her, but I couldn't think of anything to say, and she never approached me about my performance. We made eye contact a couple of times and traded smiles as we passed each other a couple of times. Damn, what should I do? Also, I met a new girl in my hostel last night, and she's real cute. She saw my guitar and said that she really liked it and we got to talking a little bit about how she's learning how to play and that she just moved in, ect. ect. and that she wants to come see me play some time. Any suggestions for this one as well? |

Girl 1) 3 second rule. Walk up to her in less than 3 secs. Make sure you smile. Pay attention to the ugly girl. Girl 2) Demonstrate value with your guitar. Make her play something on the guitar. When she gets uncomfortable or does something wrong, point it out (neg) and move to her left. Wrap your left hand around hers on the fretboard (I assume you play right-handed) then put your right arm over her shoulders. Place your right hand on hers and try to show her how to do whatever she did wrong and how to correct it. Then move off of her, take her by both sholders, tell her to close her eyes, and kiss her. |
