that if shes only 10% of the conversation i've got to bring the othe 90%. thats jugglars theory......did he get payed much for that??....cause hell i got a theory of my own, if a girl you choose where we go that means you have choose of either going here or going there lol... of course if she talks 10% of the time you must talk 90% but anyways to stop acward silence, well thats really up to you......all anyone can really say is have some interesitng storys to tell, or talk about a movie you saw the other day or a funny event that happened last night or last month... but other then that your gonna have to pick things out of your coversations that you can talk about.....basically your gonna have to find a way to say tell a stort and branch of her resonses into say a different topic so for instance me and my friends are talking bout fishing, well fishing incluces water so bring up speaking of fishing boating one time which can bring up, camping, or summer, or family event... basically whatever your talking about you take bits and pieces from it and just keep the conversation rolling.... and go aroudn with her in your uni i dont understand what your saying.. any questions?? |

If you have been talking to her for a couple of months you must have a few ideas as to what she is into and what you both have in common, no doubt you will both be nervous before meeting each other so i think that above all things you should act as if you normally would when you meet any girl. Be cool, keep all your body language natural and smile. The way i think about "dates" with girls is that if they are the right kind of girl for me then i never have trouble making conversation. It just seems to flow and i enjoy it! Whereas if im with a girl and im finding it hard to connect to her and im generally not enjoying myself then i realise this girl isnt the kind of girl i want to be spending my time with. You could try researching a few games like the cube etc. They are good because they make you look really good infront of the girl! She will be eating you up if you tell her all the things any girl wants to hear. Orthodox |

I agree with Savior, despite my still lingering AFCness, I look at it this way: When it comes to having material ready to go you want to have fun with this. fun. My personal plan looks like this: Everyday... 1. I read the forums for 30 minutes. 2. I read research one interesting PU topic. 3. I learn one magic trick. (I'm personally interested in this stuff, doesn't necessarily mean anyone else has to.) 4. I read one interesting story to get my right brain reved up. The rest of the time I relax and try to "smell the flowers." I've found that when I'm relaxed things I've learned just flow out a lot better. Hope this helps in the long run. I take it slow and let my brain absorb information, and I keep myself busy, this involves the brain and keeps it active. Biking, Hiking, Art, Clubbing, whatever. Have Fun. |

My buddy taught me something thats pretty cool. Hes a great improv guy and said something along the lines of Cherrypicking the conversations, as well as open up conversations rather then closing it off with questions... exmaples.... Open conversations as opposed to closed conversations. Open Conversation: You: Those shoes look really expensive Her: I got them on sale, while shopping at Adlo's as opposed to Closed Conversation: You: How much did those shoes cost? Her: $29.99 Rather then asking direct questions, you allow the conversation to open, to even more topics of your choice. Following the Open Conversation as an example, you then follow with Cherry Picking. Basically Cherry Picking is when you pick a word out and you can basically expand on it. You: Those shoes look really expensive Her: I got them on sale, while shopping at Adlo's You(A): I enjoy shopping blah blah blah You(B): Aldos is great shoe store this one time blah blah blah You(C): This shirt im wearing is like my favorite shirt, I got it on sale blah blah blah Its two small tips but their really helpful and they really show your paying attention to what she is saying... this creates and much more intresting conversation as you can always lead it. |
