Ok so I met this girl at a club a while ago and we made out / danced (although she seemd hesistant to make out....it was her first time at a nightclub period). Turns out she goes to a school farther away but found me on facebook. We messaged back and forth every day, I threw in some teasing in there and she always responded within 3 hours whenever I sent a message (more like 15-30 mins though). She is only a freshman at a universtiy but I mentioned the idea of going down to visit, and said "yes you definetly have to come!" So we set up a time this past weekend and I went down there. Now since we were sending messages back and forth on facebook for 3 weeks and she is willing to cut 2 days off her schedule to be with a 22 year old guy, I intuitively figured that she was wanting something more than friends. So I get down there and she is cold the whole time, especially to kino etc. I think she was standoffish becaucse she doesnt want me to be there, but then why would she invite me down? There was alot of silence between conversations, and she explains that that is just how she is alot of the time. I brought the issue up to her after she recommended i sleep on the floor instead of her lofted bed (with the excuse being it was too small and she didnt want me to fall off). I flat up told her that I didnt drive 2 hours down to just be friends and that I was wondering why she was acting like this. She said she had a long day and she is not the person to grab someone's arm and wasnt looking for a bf and said guys have screwed her over so much in the past that she doesnt want to get into anything. Turns out she comes from a conversative household in a small town and is pretty conservative herself. So im wondering if what she said is actually legit or if someothing else is going on? |

Its not your job to be a private investigator and find out if theres something else going on. Take her standoffisness at face value and move on. Have some respect and don't waste time on this bullshit. In fact, tell her that. |

she is feeling its not right, that you should get to know eachother better before etc... you can't say that you got there not to be just friends, but demonstrate to her thats the way you see her. Hum, I think its a lack of time... or not enough connection + fun together that killed it. sorry. |
