read it cover to cover. It's a good and interesting story, not just a guide. You will enjoy it. After you are done go back and re-read the routines / gambits / theory if you need to. |

Would you read a novel in random chapters? If so, then go nuts, otherwise, read it front to back. It's a novel, not a textbook. |

It is written in a narrative, so you should read it cover to cover, but if you want some techniques you should get "The Rules of the Game" by Neil Strauss or "The Mystery Method" by Mystery. |
