The other day I was in a situation where I was unable to stop a two set who were walking past me in a bar. I think the issue was that I couldn't use the tried and tested opinion opener, and was unable to convey personality and attract the set fast enough. Does anyone know how best to get girls to stop in their tracks and pay enough attention to get a conversation going? Cheers |

there are many ways to do this, however i feel falcon's stand in there way with your arm wide open as you being to speak and styles "oh my god" openers which consists of you pretending that someone in the group reminds you of someone or something else cause you to exclaim "oh my good" are the simplest to start with |

To increase your success rate of stopping people that are walking involves disrupting momentum. They will be more likely to open their ears to you if you can . Either, literally block them (don't be creepy) or when you grab their attention, time your open to have them stop and turn around to see you. Speak out right after they pass you. After the momentum is gone, it becomes difficult for them to give you stiff arm of body language. That's the best way I have found to stop a moving set. Don't forget to be interesting. etc. |
