Post subject:  What is the best dress code for a PUA
I never know what to wear!
I normally wear baggy/ surfer/skater/skiier stuff, but thats just cos i feel comfy in those. but of corse those arnt the best cloths to be wearing, and it just shows the fun, chilled, crazy, wild, in my own fun world me.

but for sarging i use dark blue suit trousers and jacket, black shirt, a ska hat, and my ordinary necklaces that i wear all the time (they get some attention even when i am out in my "normal" cloths, cos i suppose they are different to what other people would wear.

anyone think thats good enough? ow and should i wear watches, I havnt worn a watch in years, but are they worth wearing or not?

You should wear what you want of course, I guess when sarging it is best to wear something chic, different, yet not over the top. Because those three points will give away the correct indicators to a girl that you are unique. I am not a specilist in this area, but go take a look at some fashion magazines for men, buy some new cloths if necessary. And spend sometime taking everything out of your closet and putting it on with different combinations to find what looks best on you, and ask a female opinion ;)

Plain white fitted T shirt
Slim, well fitted blue jeans that show off my ass
Black Chuck Taylors
Decent watch
rubberbands on the the other arm
pinki ring
Sunglasses when appropriate

Wear what you want with confidence, but ill say this, baggy jeans are looooooong gone.

When women initial meet a man and size them up, they subconsciously look at your hair then your watch then your shoes. If you have ugly hair, no wrist garment and dirty shoes, you already have a strike against you.

Just look clean and smell good. Clip your finger and toe nails and shave your toes and back.

:D cheers guys, helps, i'll take all opinions into consideration.
I have asked my wing, Dre, how i look when i go sarging, and she says that If men had a rating i would be a 9-10. thanx about the advice about the shoes and the watch. I'll find that flashy watch I wore to graduation lol.
gonna have to polish my shoes though.

well, Me and Dre are going sarging tonight, so I'll write a report tomorrow, wish me luck.

You guys are helpless and hopeless. If you are picking up Emo's you dress like an Emo. If you are picking up girls into Metal music you dress like a Metal dude. The real question is how much money are you willing to spend on her. Where are you taking her? Are you more interesting and different in a good way compared to who she usually hangs with.

We can't dictate what you wear. Wear clothes you like, don't conform to another girl's style just because you like her. You're not a chameleon, have your own style.

Wear what suits you most naturally. Don't try to dress like someone you aren't. It seems kind of try hard if you're decking yourself out in nice clothes... especially just to meet women. That's how I look at it, anyway.

Dont be fake. Women will see right throug it and you will look like you are trying too hard. Peacock, but be yourself. If you can't wear it with confidence, don't wear it.

I'd say the truth is somewhere in between the extremities of trying to be the Talented Mr. Ripley and "dressing as yourself". I mean . . . what exactly does "yourself" mean anyhow?

The dress as yourself routine might work if you live in the same place all your life and you frequent the same clubs/bars night after night but if you travel a bit . . . and you want to increase your odds, there's nothing wrong with adopting just a little. There's really nothing written in stone but the bottom line is you want to shine . . . without looking like a total alien.

No problems with adapting so long as it is something you are comfortable wearing.

I normally wear black trendy jeans, a button down shirt (green, blue, white, colour changes whenever), a nice black sports coat. To peacock I sometimes wear a nice unique belt buckle and a silver wrist thing. I an upping it this weekend with a hat, don't know if its me or not until I actually give it a go.
