heya guys, ran into my first fail last week hope you can give me a little insight. Thanks in advance, I'll try not to go on. I was running tech on a HB8 and everything was going fine, I knew she wanted me. She emails me asking to have a chat with me. So we hooked up and I could see in her eye's this was make or break time. Anyway she wastes no time in getting started with the shit-tests as she has a load of hang-ups about going out with me she needed to resolve. But they don't stop and I crumble eventually, the AFC responses start to appear, it gets worse and worse, and I don't even have enough confidence left to disengage, I just suck it down. After an hour of it, it's a train-wreck I can't even look her in the eye. Pawned. Unfortunately since I started running tech on her she came to work with me and became best friends with my best friend at work who happens to be social queen-bee, a merciless gossip, and not best friends enough not to gossip about me Now it feels uncomfortable around them as my value has bombed. I'm not concerned about closing now what I really want to know is how to go about restoring my value. I'm after some ideas on damage limitation if you guys can think of anything |

Thanks for the replies guys, bumped into her today, deployed some fearless eye contact, she buckled first, chatted a bit, felt better. Not ideal by any means, but better than being in a mood about it. Your right, life goes on |

Yeah, even if you're not banging her, you will probably end up with a good-looking female friend to use as pivot etc... |

Your frame is the only frame that matters. That’s where your going wrong. Falling into her world and her shit tests.. If she throws allot at you just say “ do you have your survey written down or something.. do you do this to all men.. my goodness! No wonder your single! “, jokingly offcourse and very playful.. you made a very newbie mistake, but you will learn! Keep at it! Don’t let women set the guide lines! |

Thanks Impact, you're spot-on of course. Beforehand I knew of this and afterwards I knew immediately what had happened but in the moment I slid into her frame really fast. You know I needed this experience to calibrate the brain-filters and give me something to anchor lines such as those to. Next time I'll be ready, heh |
