| Post subject: | Conversation Help |
I just want to start by saying that I tried to post this in the "Attraction/Comfort Building" section, but seeing as I don't have 30 posts yet, I could not. Anyway, this is a general question, it's more for advice. I feel that something has changed and I have almost become more aware of myself when I have a conversation. That's the only way I can explain it. What I mean by this, is that I don't get so immersed in conversations as easily, especially with girls who aren't my good friends. I'm just wondering what I should do or talk about, or my general attitude when I'm with a girl and there's nothing really happening. How can I get an interesting, non-small talk conversation? Any help would be great!! -Cédric |

I used to be afraid of talking about things that weren't relevant to what we were talking about, but I realised that this is just bullshit. If you want to talk about something, then talk about it. It's actually as easy as saying "You'll never guess what happened to me today. I had to help this chinese guy buying cod liver oil" (for instance, and yes that actually happened to me today). Another thing to do, is to actually develop an interest in what she's talking about. Ask questions, develop an urge to know more, compare it to things that has happened to you, and so on. If you feel that you need something to talk to, prepare some routines, stories and interesting stuff that either happened to you or interests you. |
