Careful... I do direct game and it works very well for me. What the OP did was not direct game.

Approaching and introducing yourself isn't the best move because it puts you into the same category as all the other guys who approached and did the same thing before you. That is, if you don't know what you're doing and act the same way as all those other guys did. Think about that for a second. People hold WAY too much value in openers... you can approach and introduce yourself if you want, it's how you deal with her reaction to you and build things up that really gets the results.

i was at the club just walking aorund the dance floor found some girls talked to em for a bit just said hi my name is and she told me hers and than she said how old am i and i said i was 19 cause i am and she said i looked like her little brother and shes 23 cause i do look younger than my age i probly like 16-17 .

That wasn't rejection... sounds to me like she was just teasing you. You guys make such a big deal out of the tiniest little things. Remember, nothing is ever on you. If she says you look too young for her, it means she doesn't think she can keep up with you. Nomatter what she says, she is showing interest in you (unless of course she walks away afterwards). If she jokes around with you, joke back. Just have fun. I say this to guys all the time, PUA isn't some big serious thing. It's about having FUN and enjoying yourself. If she walks away from you, whose problem is that? Who gives a shit if some girl decides she doesn't like you after 5 seconds? It's her problem, so move on and meet more. Go out, talk to them, say whatever the hell you want and do what you want. You're doing this because it makes you feel good, nothing else. When you start to take this shit seriously it holds you back, and I know after all the years of bad experiences with women this can be a hard concept to grasp, but you'll learn in time. Fun, god damnit! Go have some.

Yeah, that wasn't rejection, that was a shit test. And I think you failed. You gave up way too easily. Also, it sounds like you had a bit of a shoddy opener. I don't think I have heard of much success with direct openers in a club environment, that is a very AFC thing to do. But a failure like this is good, you learn a heap from it. Write everything down and analyse it, see where you lost her interest, where you gave up and where you should have negged her back. (I would have instinctually said, "That's ok, you look like my older sister" but I neg pretty hard because I can usually pass it off well) Get back out there and learn more!

yea how do i approach girls when there dancing with there friends ? but yea i did get rejected pretty sure cause i do look mad young but i aint mad about it impretty stoked i talked to them but than they were like were going to sit down

THATS NUTS! the EXACT same thing pretty much happened to me a few weeks ago.. except this is how my version went down [btw this all took place on the dance floor]: Me: Hey u guys look pretty cool, are u friendly? HB: haha yeahh. [blah blah] Me: [Fluff talk about the club] HB: hey how old are u? Me: Guess [hoop-theory] HB: 12? =P [lol im 17 and i snuck wit a friends id and yeh i look my age] Me: [going along with it] Howd u know?!! shh dont tell anyone ok it'll be our little secret. =] HB: awww ur soo cute ur like my little brother! Me: Hey now, dont put me on layby already.. im not THAT easy! HB: hahaha Me: how old are u? HB: 24 conversation continues a bit more then ejects i got her email later that night. guess i coulda kept gaming but i sort of gave up after i found out how much older she was.. i agree with wat everyone else said - it was definitely a shit-test and not a rejection. dw about it the more u sarge the more adjusted u'll get to dealing with shit-tests and other situations. for now just think C&F, joke around and have fun as already suggested. i suggest opening sets near the bar or sitting down and only open dance-floor sets with non-verbal game and only if u can actually dance pretty well.

So, after me talking about how openers aren't important, the first thing you have to ask is which openers are good... I just facepalmed myself so damn hard. Well, I'll talk about them anyway just for shits and giggles. And for the record, this is what I do for day game. The 'opener' I use most frequently is 'hiya'. Actually, that's the one I always use. Never fails! Then I ask how she's doing and we chat about what she's been up to that day, I tease her a little about how she's boring or whatever, we talk about random situational stuff and have fun talking... then I throw in a time constraint and step things up by telling her the real reason I came to talk to her. My game is pretty natural now though so the most suitable advice I can give you is to read some material and go use it, learn from your experiences and repeat until you find what works best for you. It's important to be comfortable and confident in what you're doing so start small and work your way up. Of course you want something more imaginative than 'hi' for approaching, so look in the approaching and opening section of the forums for some ideas you like the sound of. Then learn how to build that into a conversation, then how to build that up to a number close etc. You'll get the hang of it.

Yeah, I am not really well versed in day game. I have always thought that a direct opener during the day would be best, though. I didn'y mean 'everyone who directly opens in a club is an afc', I just see a whole heap of drunk AFC's where I live that go up to girls and go 'heyyyyyyyy!' and they get frozen out straight away. Although that almost always creates the perfect opener for me. "Well, that guy was nice". I guess it is true, you really don't need an awesome opener, just something that you can follow up, and that will disqualify you from being a suitor. I am still working on day game, since where I live, the attractive girls don't go out at night, because of the multitude of drunken aggresive AFC's here
