business cards are called business cards for a reason, the are good for business, not pickup. First of all, you will be giving out your number instead of getting hers, second, business cards always look non-personal, why? because you have 1000 of them at your office, its simply a bit too cold. And its the same the other way around too, I once asked a girl for her number and got her business card (she was a freelancing model), somehow it just killed it for me, didn't call her. The only situation where I think it would be ok is when there is no time for anything else, say you play daygame on a bus stop and suddenly her bus comes behind the corner, you have 10secs time, in that case I think it would be ok to just quickly givec her your business card and say, call me. But this should only be your last resort. |

Thought of a good way to do this but it may not work for most women and here's why. I would get business cards printed saying I was "Patrick Bateman" Now if you never saw "American Psycho" rent it before doing this. If they already saw it they would say "creepy" or "psycho". Then you can return by saying "You know you love me." or drop some lines from the movie. If they say they love that movie...you're in! Feel it out and see where it goes...good luck |

Perfect!! Then you start to talk about how you are a big fan of "Hughey Lewis and the News" while wearing a raincoat and holding an axe.

I have a business card. I only give it to people who earn it. They usually aren't girls, anyway, since it says "PUA and Dating Coach" lol... but some girls DO have my card I must admit. |

also its giving the wrong signal to the girl, especially if you're doing an indirect approach - once you've worked your way thru' the routine and give her the card, she'll think that this is something which you regular do which is never a good thing as and will more likely flake! |

the oooonnnlly way i could imagine a possible way for it to work would be to approach her, say "i was asked to give this to you by..." and point to the guys with the LEAST social value in the venue, and if she refuses, which there is like a 60% chance she will, if she keeps it, she'll never look at it again and I dont know what you'd do from there, but if she says no thats your in. playfully say something like "no!? you want me to walk back over there and give it back to him!? your are a mean person" and just flirt. but i dont recommend this. and as far as the american psycho thing, i really dont think you're going to have a high success rate with that. but thats just me. |

I think it would be cheasy to have a business card without an actual 'business'. Hence, start up a little LLC that does SOMETHING even if by no means making a primary income. In my state it costs about $300 in taxes and fees. I agree with the guy above though. I only give out the card if they earn it, and that way they get my full first and last name for the myspace - facebook swap. If they ask me what my profile is I just hand them the card to look me up. But having your own business, even just a little side project is a huge IOI |

I can confirm this having run my own businesses for a while. But guys, DON'T start your own business just because having one is a dhv, just don't. For higher class and smarter woman having a dysfunctional, no-use no-win generating business will only be a DLV. If you have a good business plan you believe in, by all means, do it. But do it for yourself, not for the women or the dhv.

One of Project DC's members is an assistant to a congreesman. His business card is major DHV, especially in a town where 75% of the college women are poli-sci majors. But, for most guys, a business card is worthless. Don't give them out to anyone you are looking to do financial business with. The only time it might DHV witha DLV card is if you can do origami and fold it in a manner that your name and number can be seen without unfolding it. Even then, it has to be something really cool. If you have a bunch of cards that you hand out when sarging, it DLVs be telling them they are just another women with one of five hundred cards. |
