Post subject:  A twist on the 'boyfriend' thing...

Well there's plenty of material on 'boyfriends' and how to react to them/how to deal with the objection when it's raised.

But I've not found anything on how to read/deal with a woman who says she has a boyfriend then has NOTHING good to say about him!

So, how do you deal with something like this:

This happened last night with a girl who throughout the night was giving me plenty kino and IOI and constantly holding my hands. After a while I asked some fun 'scenario' questions then asked if she was seeing anyone. It could be a FR as I n-closed and a few other bits and pieces happened, but to keep this on thread:

She said she'd been seeing someone for 11 months, but that he was jealous, possessive, didn't believe her etc. She said she was going to see how it goes but that they just weren't getting on. Changed topics again to something I can't recall (asking what hobbies she enjoys etc), then said 'I like you too. Let's go for a drink next Friday and get to know each other better. It's just a pity you're not single' - I wanted to see her reaction.

She then launched into a spiel that I wasn't her type etc.

So how do you react to this? And what do you make of someone who raises that they have a boyfriend but then go on to completely devalue him and their relationship? Indeed, is this someone you should avoid?

Am curious to see what the general viewpoint is on girls like this...

Mods feel free to merge this thread if need be - not sure how this forum approaches different threads on the same general theme but with different focuses.
