Post subject:  Text gaming gone wrong?
Background info: This was a girl I met at a party through a friend, and eventually we became friends over myspace and i got her number. A few days later I texted her saying "happy 43rd birthday!", she had really just turned 17. After that, she replied asking me to come with her and her friends that night to go hookah and smoke pot. So obviously enough comfort had been built by then for her to do that. So I went, and stupidly smoked pot which caused me to tense up and fill with anxiety, so I blew it that night. I waited 3 days afterwards to try text gaming her for the hell of it.

ME: What's up kiddo?

HB: Playing rockband. Ha u?

ME: Oh cool are you playing the role of groupie?

HB: Lol. No way. Drummer/lead singer. Groupie? Pfft. What kind of girl do u thinki am?

ME: I can already hear your voice cracking as you try to defend yourself as a singer, it's actually kind of cute ;)

HB: Haha oh lord. My voice sings like a mockingbird.

ME: I'll believe that when I hear it. You know (pizza place) does karaoke on friday's (today just happened to be a friday), if you sing well enough MAYBE i'll buy you half a slice of pizza.

HB: Hahaha. Fine ill sing. I cant believe u dont believe me.

ME: As of now you're just another pretty face to me, but we'll see what you've got ;)

HB: Oh, and when u hear me i think you'll insist i deserve more than a half a slice

ME: Don't get too pushy. If you're a good girl I'll have them bring out their finest bottled water.

HB: Hahaha. Ooo sounds pleasant.

ME: Alright, so from 8-10pm you can entertain me, and then I've gotta go take a friend up to Santa Clarita.

HB: Hmmm i think ill be out looking for a party, or getting ready at tht time

Now here is where I went a bit AFC with my reply because I was stupidly rushing to text while driving on the freeway.

ME: Hm, are you available any time before that? We can grab a bite to eat for a quick 30 min.

After this, she stopped replying. What do you guys think went wrong?

You should of said something like

Hey well im gonna go (place) with a couple of friends if you want to tag along your more than welcomed to

something like but im not that experienced so yeah lol

I can't really talk about my text game its a little rusty too (but I can do well without the phone as numbers as they are 10 a penny).

I liked the push pull of the text- and there was some qualifying going on in there.

It wasn't AFC the last bit BUT you did jump through her hoop. There was a text tug of war going on but you pulled when the rope was dropped.

Women do not like being text about the same thing three times.
Think about the first text being the opener/re-opener (to remind her who you are-never use your name). Then use chick bait (a neg with a hook point on there) for example "Do you remember my little pony-yes or no?"
Her Yes- They had magical powers on their hips- what powers would you possess and why? If she replies "thats so random-why u asking me this?"
(wait a while betweern texts say 5-10 minutes- if she texts in between waiting you can really neg her or tell her off for being impatient- as you have the "hoop") If she does wait text "Too many questions- and you still havent answered my question" (girls when asked this realise you are qualifying them and not taking their bossy "hoop" attitude will text back 100%)
Only then can you transition onto things like dates. Like anything women will work harder FOR YOU as they appreciate you are playing cat and string with them- never let the cat get the string.
You see it in clubs when women are continually texting their ex-boyfriend the whole night as he is playign cat and string- but usually playing her off against a new girlfriend.

tta be honest text game is the last resort and it is a pain in the arse.
However it is a necessary evi.l

Hey, you did good.

Don't worry so bloody hell much, its only 1 text!
Normal guys send millions of texts like that and they still can get pussy.

Just text her something stupid that she won't be expecting, something funny. Fluff a little then tell her that you are going to meet friends and do whatever and she can tag along. If she does, great. If not, take pictures of the ass kicking time you and your friends are doing and show them to her. Texting is no big deal. Like Stetson said. It's just one text, man. Don't get discouraged. There are other chicks out there.

You had her going pretty good. Like Stetson and said don't stress too much on one line. And like Neo said just send something unexpected. Overall just keep gaming. Don't worry about 1 thing. If you worry about 1 thing it creates a snowball effect. 1 thing turns to 2. 2 turns to 4 and so on and so on. Then you've reverted back to afc-ness.
