Post subject:  Non-specific PUA practice

Hi everyone! I've been browsing PUA communities for quite a while now and even though some basic principles are present, some PUA methods are totally contradictory to others, so i've given up trying to find a style I want to make my own. And how best to do that? Experimenting, and so I have been, and I've been getting better with my openers but I'm still one hell of an AFC, the whole approcah thing is working for now but I can't keep things interesting. Anyways I'm not really looking for what to say or how to act, I'll get around to those problems on my own;through experience.

What I really want to know is how to fucking practice. How did all the greats do it? I've heard of people making notes after a sarge. What should I do? How should I practice?

I mean I've Crashed and Burned so many times by now that it doesn't really matter to me anymore. So all I want from you is how to organize the way I practice better, what places should I go to first, should I start with HB 6s or HB 10s or should it just be random. Should I work on the street or in a pub, should I be alone or with a group etc etc

Really need some advice, its like I've been playing this stupid game and trying and trying only to end up with the same result. Now its getting frustrating.

Like you said, you wanna find your own style. Only you will know then, if you work best alone, game best in a pub or game HB6 or 8 or 10 the best or which you should start with. Don't get the point of the post- it's kind of "contradictory."

lol yeah, I guess what I'm looking for is a bit hard to put into words. But basically I don't want you tell me of any of your pick-up lines or how YOU overcame AA etc I want to know what you did to develop your own style besides reading 'instructions' on the internet...Hmm that's a bit better but I still don't think I've got my point across, still the message should be a bit clearer.

I personally use a blend of everything.
I had natural game to begin, but when i started in the community, i would read about and interesting method, and then i would test it in the field, and see if i liked it. Now my style consists of little bits of everything, there is no way u could put a label on it even.
But u do need to crash and burn in the field to get better. If you read but dont practice, you wont get any better.

You said ur problem is that u cant keep things interesting. Start conversations with everyone around u, just be social. Guys and girls. The more comfortable you are with conversation in general, the better you will get at keeping conversations interesting.

You dont necessarilly need to approach beautiful women for practice, pick up is based on confidence, and you need to develop that before anything else will build on it.

Think of it like soccer practice, then when your sarging women in clubs, its like the big game you've been practicing for.

I would recommend using the same method as I did:

1. Find the PUA community
2. Read The Game by Neil
3. Read MM, some DeAngelo etc...
4. Field-test until you know you can game successfully

5. Read more, browse forums
6. NOW create your own mix.

Now, I believe that learning by yourself is a mistake. It's better to first learn from others, THEN learn by yourself. I mean, you have to know something about pickup in order to get started, so why not know everything?

Yeah, some schools say against others... but look for what they all have in common: i.e. being alpha.
