Location- local mall in an American Eagle store Hypnotik- 18 years old going into senior year of HS A friend and I had been in the store for about 10 min looking for something to use my giftcard on (because i do not really like anything in american eagle) when he pointed out two girls entering the store. First was the HB 8 followed by an HB 9. They were together and walked directly to the clothes rack next to ours. I had no intention of even approaching at first then the HB 9 looked up and smiled at me. I started to think about it, then i said "fuck it i have to start somewhere." So i approach and opened Hypnotik- This might sound kind of weird but i have been in here for about 30 minutes trying to find something to blow this giftcard on and i'm not expecting to have any luck, So I'm going to let you pick anything in the store $30 and under that you think would look good on me and i will get it. HB9- Oh... uh i think i can do that. Well what do you like? Hypnotik- haha listen closely this time *smiling* anything in the store. I wand you to pick it. HB8- Like what do you mean? (i know what your thinking, and yes she was dumb as shit) Hypnotik- Im serious, ANYTHING HB9- Ok so what's your name? Hypnotik- I'm ____, and yours? HB9- Lauren, what school do you go to? BLAH BLAH BLAH back and forth for a few minutes HB9- So what do you think about that crimson shirt right there? Hypnotik- Looks pretty good. Are you an Alabama fan? HB9- Roll Tide *smiling* Hypnotik- Good Stuff, What about you (to HB8) HB8- Holds up middle finger and says war eagle. Hypnotik- Put that away haha *pushes her hand down* I see how it is. With that attitude you can walk right out that door over there *pointing to door* (with 100% joking attitude) HB8 turns around and walks out without even looking back Hypnotik- Holy shit, Im sorry i was just playing with her... HB9- its cool she is retarded and gets worked up easily Hypnotik- alright well i still feel bad though, that was kind of brutal HB9- well lets go find her and you can apologize Hypnotik and friend follow HB9 to a womans clothing store where things get kinda awkward when her friend doesnt even say a word when i tell HB8 that i was just kidding and that i would never tell a girl that looked as good as her to go away unless i was joking. HB8- (to HB9) lets go to this store *starts walking out without even noticing us* Hypnotik- *tired of following people and the bitch HB8* i think we are going to go somewhere else* HB8- Cya *grabs HB9 and pulls her out of the store* Hypnotik and friend are just kind of like whatever fuck it, but as they were leaving we saw them again and HB 9 waves and smiles. Hypnotik- So you are just gonna leave without saying anything? Alright thats cool *laughing* HB9- well we are about to go to BLAH BLAH to do some more shopping. *While struggling to keep up with anxious to leave HB8* No close, but didnt consider it a crash and burn. Thought about it later and convinced myself that it was an advanced PUA situation and i will have it in time. - Hypnotik |

Hey, I know how AL can feel like a target empty place. You got an IOI and went with it. You where c/f and did everything right up until you wanted to 'seriously' apologize. You should have had the HB9 stay and choose for you (the other girl would have wondered back eventually and you could have easily #closed). Altogether for a first attempt I am impressed! That is a damn good opener too...  you should simply never use the card but the opener again and again.~Chairmen |

thats an awesome attempt. if thats day one youll be awesome in no time. me, ive been reading this stuff for probly about a yr now and i still dont have the confidence to approach. youll go far my friend. well done. |

my first one was accidental in that i wasnt really tryin. i smiled at a hb 8.5, and i got her number after she started talking to me. didnt even need to open: she opened me. |
