I am kinda new to the game, and need some advice on closing an old friend. Heres the low down on the situation. I am kind of a newbie to the game, but am a confident person. I just don't want to mistake it for genuine friendship. -I am traveling and crashing at her place, she was ridiculously excited to see me and never hesitated for a moment to say I could stay with her. -She thinks I am hilarious and intelligent (which I am) -I can casually put my arm around her and she it feels natural(she is a decently affectionate girl in general though) -She bought me dinner -Always makes deep eye contact -She was sexually attracted 2 years ago (she told me, we were both seeing people at the time, now we arent), and since then I lost 40 lbs and got in shape. I dont want to blow it, but I cannot leave here without closing this, it feels like the attraction is still there. How can I have it be her idea to have sex? She is also a good friend, so I don't want to screw that up either. I will use any good advice. I appreciate this guys. |

despite all the great advice you'll get on here I think in the end you'll just have to decide yourself whether its worth the risk..Is the thought of her being your girlfriend so inticing that it outweighs the prospect of harming your friendship |

I can understand that. Except, she wouldn't be my girlfriend. I am moving to the west coast, and she is on the east, pretty involved in her work. I dont think I would want her to come with me even if there was a remote chance of that happening.We had limited contact after college and I looked her up one day, called her and we pretty much picked up where we left off. I imagine that if my attraction hasn't waned (it may have increased) then her attraction can't be completely gone. Especially saying "yeah, come crash at my place" even though we hadnt spoken in almost 2 years. |
