I'm confused about opening. I read lots of things that say "don't drink while sarging". Then I read this post where dude was talking about how wasted he was and he went up to a girl all smashed and said something like "I think it would be good for both of us to hook up because I have a thing for redheads and I'm a horny male." WTF??? He went on to say that it doesn't matter what you say, it's how you say it but I don't care how Alpha I was being, If I walked up to a chick in a club and said that? I'd get a dirty look or just straight up smacked in the mouth!" unless she was a complete whore. I'm asking here, not telling because I am very very new to this but some stuff seems contradictory. I mean for a newbie who is working on being ALPHA, what is a relatively safe opener that I could use on a girl in a waiting room or passing in the hall? |

well with the drinking thing... I know everyone says not to drink while sarging but if you're in an environment like a bar,club, party it doesn't hurt to have one drink if you want to just don't get wasted and sloppy (trust me i've burned a lot of sets being piss ass drunk don't do it). The whole point of the not drinking is so that alcohol doesn't become a crutch. You don't want to depend on alcohol to give you confidence you should be able to sarge without it. When you see guys in the club most of them build up their confidence by drinking and you shouldnt need drinking to be confident. |

Don't drink and sarge.. just stick to it  This doesn't mean you couldn't have one, two or even three drinks, but as the above guy said, you shouldn't rely on alcohol to overcome your AA. In the end, alcohol is a toxic and affects your brain, you won't be as sharp if you've drunk than if you haven't.
