So theres this girl at work I've been working on just basically negging and DHVing the crap outta her. Well I come to find that shes been telling my co-workers shes really into me and all that stuff. Last night she "drunk texted" me complaining about her ex-boyfriend. I had no idea what to do...if I answered would that put me in the friend zone? Are there "ex-bf destroyers" should I just not waste my time with this girl anymore? FYI...I answered her text by saying "stop". Was that a bad move? Thanks a lot guys, I'm real new at this and I just wanna improve as much as I can. |

I wasnt a good move...or a bad one. Besides you already did it so is useless to dwell on that. The only person that can tell you if you are wasting your time on her is you. If she is telling everybody she is into you, dont worry about that, get used to it. your a hugh valueperson dude!!!. Girls are suppossed to be all over you. you are the one that picks them. Being in the friends zone means that a girl feels no attraction for the guy. And thats obviously not the case here. Edit: Is a HIGH Value person, not a HUGH...sorry about the typo |

Don't worry about her ex, there's a reason he's called that. Drunk text about ex-boyfriend is a cry of "be my knight in shining armour". Roughly translated; "please seduce me now, and I can claim drunkness if you don't" |

I think infamous is right she is defiantly using her ex boyfriend thing as a way to try to draw you closer. I would have responded with something either not relating to here last text at all or saying something like he is your ex don't let him ruin your life. |

Honestly I think your answer wasn't bad. You are right in thinking that responding in the way she wanted you to would have been supplicative and might have gotten you into the friend zone. If a girl starts whining about her ex to me I say, "Could we not talk about your ex please?" |
