Post subject:  WHEN TO CALL? UPDATE!!!

Hey Everybody

So a little recap: Got a HB 8's number on Sunday and was curious when to call to set something up for an event I'm going to on Friday.

Many of you gave GREAT feedback and the consensus was I should call on Tuesday (last night) at 8pm.

So, of course, I did that.

Left a message. (I hate messages!)

Anyways, she texted back 10 minutes after I left the message saying she was in class and would call me when she got out.

Well, she didn't call. Hmmmm....

What's my next move? Wait for her to call? Or give her a buzz in a day or so and let her know about Friday?

Oh, and I didn't mention anything about Friday on the message. I told her she won the big prize and to give me a call.

Many thanks!

Call her this evening, just call if she answers okay, if not don't leave a message. You don't want to wait to much longer or she may setup plans for Friday.

I would actually not call, but text at this point: you are much more likely to get a response.

What to text? I would say: please let me know if you are coming on Friday. I am running out of spots in my: car, table, bed, whatever (I have no clue what your event is).

^yeah... without the 'please' though.

It's not so much as an event as my roommate is bartending at a pretty cool bar that night.

She knows nothing about that.

That's what I was calling to invite her to.

So I should text, eh? Then invite her in the text? Or leave it ambiguous and say "I only have one more spot in my car left for Friday. Get back to me."

Something like that....?
