I can see how a selection of a few openers/ good stories to tell would help out tremendously, but is running the same few routines necessary? Couldn't a more "natural" PUA simply DHV etc. without the cookie cutter? or is that just insanely difficult? |

Routines are not essential in anyway depending on what type of game you run. Indirect game heavily involves routines, while natural and direct has little dependency on them. This is a generalisation as most PUAs have their own adapted style using different quantities of routines, some even use none as far as they are concerned (the naturals). Many just take their favourite few, like the cube or as a way to open or DHV and add it to their game. |

I've done openers and such but I've never real routines. I have friends who do them, even magic tricks and they have success and so do I. So you can do what ever you want and still succeed. |
