Hey guys I've been trying to get better at talking to people in general. I would like to be able to approach hot girls my age but i am only in highschool and don't yet have a car. What I do is go to the supermarket every, next to the gym i go to, and just approach a few women asking for the time, or something like that. The problem is that these women are all at least 10 years older than me. Asking them the time isn't really helping me make progress anymore. What can I open these women with/ talk to them about? |

wtf? lame excuse my friend. cars can't even talk! you only truely have two things in this world - your mind and your time. how do you want to spend yours? when you get a car will you not talk to them as you don't have your own house? these things shouldn't change your strategy. just give a little extra consideration to the logistics. how old are you? i ask because the age difference can have big effects if we're talking 25/28 year old sets and how they view your age in turn. The best place to start is where you spend most of your time and are very likely most comfortable - school. It's good that you're at least finding some activity to learn from - approaching somebody is better than nobody whether they're 70 or 20. The next step is obviously to continue the intereaction past this stage and turn it into a conversation where you can get those attraction switches flipped - this is easier to do with people similar in age, as it's likely there will be more in common. If you feel a burning need to "practice", then just have a conversation - don't expect to close too many but you can get used to thinking on your feet in conversation and at least you'll be learning something. |

I'm 15, but i am not expecting any closes or anything like that at this point. All I am expecting to do is improve my conversation skills and overcome my shyness, which is kind of working so far. The thing about approaching in my school is that I know a lot of people who go there, and I don't know why but my game doesn't improve when i practice on people i already know, so I'm trying to talk to new people. I guess you're right about the car thing, my point was that I don't/can't go out to clubs and other places like that whenever I choose. What are some things I can talk to them about though? |

having a car has absolutely nothing to do with your ability to game... i live in one of the worst cities for public transit in the world and i can manage to get to places when i need to so ignore that as a deterrent from your gaming ability it sounds like your trying to put up a lot of hurdles in order to keep yourself in your comfort zone personally since your young i would take advantage of that... people your age unless their naturals are TERRIBLE with girls/women we've all seen some of the master pua's who paid their dues and went out 3 to 4 times a week and were teaching bootcamps in a year imagine what kind of damage you could do when you have that element of youth where you can recover and move on and blame it on teenage awkwardness if anyone busts your balls on it? if i were you i would practice in school during your lunch/study halls/halls/etc. and just do your best to break out of your shy mold keep studying up on the board, but really force yourself when you are around people to be more social and treat everything as a process where you are constantly experimenting |

thanks for your advice man, i do see what you're saying and will take your advice. You're completely right about people being terrible with girls. I'm considered "popular" (i hate the clique bullshit though), and i don't have one buddy who is a natural. All my friends are terrible with girls, and i don't know anyone who is actually good in my grade.it sounds like your trying to put up a lot of hurdles in order to keep yourself in your comfort zone personally since your young i would take advantage of that... people your age unless their naturals are TERRIBLE with girls/women we've all seen some of the master pua's who paid their dues and went out 3 to 4 times a week and were teaching bootcamps in a year imagine what kind of damage you could do when you have that element of youth where you can recover and move on and blame it on teenage awkwardness if anyone busts your balls on it? if i were you i would practice in school during your lunch/study halls/halls/etc. and just do your best to break out of your shy mold keep studying up on the board, but really force yourself when you are around people to be more social and treat everything as a process where you are constantly experimenting But now that it's summer and school is out, how can I get practice? Do you think what I'm doing by talking to people at the supermarket is good? Also, what should I talk about with these people being that most are twice my age? |
