| Post subject: | Finding my tribe |
I watched a video by Mystery recently about why men fear the approach and it struck a chord with me. It's the one in which he explains how our brains are still hardwired into relating to people as we did when we existed in small tribes. Expanding on this living in modern society means being part of a multitude of tribes. School/university becomes a tribe as does the family (extended), work, friends etc, in each of these there is a clear social hierarchy. This is my interpretation. In another video, this time by Style, he spoke about finding your tribe and having something to identify with. I'm after a little clarity on what this means. As far as conveying an identity goes I am an artist but this seems like a very solitary thing to be. I'm confused how this relates to the whole tribal leader philosophy of Mystery. So, yeah, how do I find my tribe? Any advice/ clarification would be great, I think I'm over thinking this. |
