| Post subject: | Help critique my day game method |
I wont be able to go sarging for a few days, but when I do, this is the sequence I plan to use. I've read all about how different guys have to use different methods to see what will work, so that's why I've come up with my own. Please feel free to critique it and make suggestions because I'm still not entirely sure about what will work for me. I will probably be using this on the street. I'm a 20 year old American so I can't go to bars or nightclubs, and I don't plan on going to them much when I turn 21 because it just isn't my thing. I do go to parties with my friends, but I'm not really into the typical "party girls" that much. I'm a gentle looking fellow of average height, I'm kinda skinny and I have a very deep voice that people like to listen to (I do voice-overs sometimes) but lots of people (especially girls) always give me shit about being monotone and having no emotions. I'm a musician, and people seem to detect that about me when they first meet me. I'm also pretty good at being witty and making people laugh, but it's usually more dry than cocky. Anyway, this will be for meeting girls on the streets or at malls and such. Here's how it will go: Opener: Look for 3 seconds, then start with "hey," followed by an opinion opener or a comment/compliment about something on her. Discuss it a bit and throw in some C&F remarks, and if they talk about things they are into (i.e. art, music, hiking) I'll do that fluff talk stuff to make a connection to it, and if she mentions something I can't relate to I'll do a C&F remark like "yeah, I can totally imagine you doing that" in a sort of teasing way. If she says something cool I'll give her a high-five. I'll make sure to throw in a time constraint somewhere. Then I'll do some DHV stuff. Probably talk about my band (in a non-bragging manner), and some of the other interesting stuff I do like writing screenplays, composing soundtracks for indie films and games, writing stories and poems (comedic and serious), etc. If she is an artistic type, I'll do some fluff talk about the emotional experiences involved with the music. If she is a literary type then I'll discuss that kind of stuff with her. Of course I won't tell her everything right away, I'll leave some stuff a mystery and I'll also joke about doing other weird/funny shit that I obviously don't really do. I'll probably keep this whole part short. After she's been showing some IOI's and asking more stuff about me, I won't answer her questions and instead do something like look at my watch and say "oh, well now I gotta run away never to be seen again." If she doesn't initiate a contact info exchange then I will go for a #-close by saying something like "but you seem like you aren't too bad, do you have a cell phone?" Feel free to tell me if this sucks or what parts to change, or what parts I should focus more in. I have a feeling that I might be leaving out an important part, but I'm not sure. Remember this is for day game. Thanks in advance everyone! |
