Hey gang, So I've run into a bit of a delema. ....Background..... I went out tonight with my cousin, his buddy, and two friends of mine (HB9 and HB 8 ). So we're at the bar and things are going great. I'm wearing an Equalizer shirt that goes with the music. First up Bouncer(girl bouncer) Admires the shirt, we talk for a few minutes before I move on. Inside the club my group and I are talking for a few mins, and out of the corner of my eye I see a girl trying to get my attention before she comes over and takes me to her group to show off my shirt. At this point I'm thinking the shirt is kicking ass. Anyhow away from the shirt now. My cousin and I are mingling start talking to the club owner who buys us a couple shots shows us around the place a bit, they just renovated the place so he was showing us his new goodies, and then introduces us to a couple waitresses and the DJ. We go back to doing our own thing, and a little while later, this 1 waitress comes around and asks if we need anything. She really looks familar. After she comes by a couple more times, and an order of drinks I look at her and say that she looks familar. She agrees, and says she was going to say the same thing. It ended up she's 2years younger then me and went to the same school as me. Friends with some of my friends younger siblings, so I'd probably seen her at their place in the past as well as at school. She keeps coming around to see if we want drinks and also to chat it up. Sitting with me for a bit both when the group's there, and when I was on my own for a bit. Things are going well. Night begins to wind down and I order a water. She comes by, but instead of coming into the midle of the group like she had been the whole night, she comes around the side of the table and basically pulls me toward her. I lock in and things are going good. I'm about to number close when my cousin jumps out of his chair, comes around the group, puts his hands on her shoulders and in a drunken slur says "He wants your number, you should give it to him, it'll be worth it." then slurs something else that neither her nor I understood what it was and hobbles back to his seat. She looks at me with eyes opened wide. I quickly try to recover only to find its too late. I say "he's trying to help me out with something I don't need his help with." (probably not the best recovery but it was the best I had at that time). She replies "Yea I know. He's really creepy." Then from that point on, she ignores our table. Now I look at it two ways. He just totally creeped her out and she doesn't want to come back, and I also ordered a water that basically said, I'm done with you for the night, bye. Now here's the deal. My cousin and I are close. I don't want to be that guy who tells him to back off if I'm talking to a girl, but at the same time, he's done similar things couple times before and totally creeped out girls on me. Anyone have any advice on a nice way to get the message through to him. Yes he was drunk, but he's done it when sober too. He thinks he's smooth, but really he's creepy. First of all, what's an Equalizer shirt? I think I need one  All of my mates (including myself) have done something like that at one time or another. However, if its a regular thing then you definitely need to do something about it. If you're close, just be blunt with him. Say something like: "I've been interested in a few girls lately, but you've been drunk and kind of scared them away. I would appreciate it if you didn't interrupt me when I'm talking to someone." |

He knows of the game, doesn't know any details of it. Shortly after he found out about it, my buddy and I went out with him, and he basically walked up to a chick just after my buddy walked away from her. And earlier that night he'd been bashing us about the game. |

Ah, I saw a whole group of guys with those shirts at my local bar a few months ago. They're awesome! Cheers. So I take it this guy gets off his face every night and never picks up the ladies? I used to have a friend like that, then he turned emo and the girls wont stay away from him. |

Yea the shirt is whicked. Everyone that I talked to about it was amazed by it and had never seen one. So I plan to make sure I use it to its potential. In all honesty, he's 27 and lost his virginity less then a year ago and has only had a couple encounters since.. He's a chill guy, has been in situations where I don't know why he hasn't gotten any, but just doesn't. Hell if I was able to pick up a couple strippers and go to Dennys for breakfast after the bar, then take them to their hotel room, I'm sure I'd probably get some. Lets just say he's 27, but doesn't always act like he is. He can be real immature at times, and that's what puts him in the shit house. Paco. |

Maybe he's jealous, maybe he wants you for himself. Either way, talk to him. If he's ruining your progress, why should you let him? Tell him in a nice manner, like Pesmerga said. And if you feel some so sad for him because he doesn't get that many girls, then help him. A friend of mine and I are helping an AFC we know, and it's both fun and it really helps him. Maybe that would work out for you guys? By the way, I love your t-shirt. I've seen a couple of them, but in green and red. Nice. |

Ah man I hear your pain... i had a similar experience with one of my mates going up to a girl i was sarging this week and says 'My mate wants to fuck you...Go back to his Room' Wasn't happy with him.. And im really tempted to buy one of those shirts! |

Yea it really sucked. So I called up his buddy that was with us that night. Talked to about it, as soon as I said I'm kinda pissed at my cousin, he knew exactly what I was talking about. I guess him and one of the chicks we were with were commenting on how I was doing just as he came and deflated my situation. He's done this to his buddy a number of times in the past and his buddy's mentioned it to him before. We went to a movie tonight then went downtown for a bit, and as I got to the movie my cousin appologized for the night before and said he would go and appologize to the girl tonight. His buddy talked to him before I did. I told him not to worry about it, I'd pick up with her where I'd left off. Luckily she wasn't working tonight, cuz as soon as we walked into the place, he was on the lookout for her. So after talking to my cousin's buddy for a bit and telling him about The Game and the community, he was quite interested in it, and I ended up going to buy 2 copies of The Game. One for my cousin's buddy and 1 for me to lend to my cousin. We'll see how it goes and how much determination and emphasis they put into reading the book and moving forward in their game.
