| Post subject: | Should i have been more persistent? |
Hey Guys, I went out last night down this club, my First time out 'on the pull' since I've started reading / learning about PUA. The night went pretty well with me opening a few 2 sets but there was one that stood out the most. Me and some mates went up to the dance floor, had a dance and i noticed a HB 6.5 (Could have been a 7.5 but she was kinda chubby). So using the 3second rule i go over to her, I say hello and start having a dance. I then found out that she was with her mum and her mums Boyfriend (God knows why). Basically i viewed the mother and the Mothers boyfriend as cockblockers and i knew i had to isolate her, So i isolate her we talked and ended up kissing several times. So around 3am the club was closing, she lived a few miles away but i had a hotel room just at the end of the street, so i suggest instead of her going home why doesn't she stay out and we go find another club. She wants to but admits to me that she's 24 and has a 3 year old child. I could understand why she wanted to go home, fair enough. But the thing is she really wanted to stay out she said so i suggested again we go find another club.. We all leave the club (Me, the target, The mum and the mums bf) and outside we lift her mum into a taxi to go home (she had a bit to much to drink). She said she was hungry so The Target, the mums bf and myself go to Mcdonolds. While they were queuing i opened a conversation with my mate who was there on her own. I see the target leaving and closed my conversation with my mate, i go outside to find out she'd disappeared. My Questions: 1) Did i do anything wrong? (As i said first time out sarging' 2) Should i have been more persistent? Any and all help / criticism is welcome Regards, Furball Edit: Forgot to mention we were body2body dancing and she did a few times mention how turned on she was. |

Eh... the only thing wrong there was logistics. Seems like you should have worked a different set that didn't involve a momstacle and the momstacle's bf. I made up that word, by the way. Only thing you could have really done there was number-close and time bridge for a day 2. |

Honestly man, you did enough. Never go after a woman with extra baggage like a friggin' 3 year old. Just keep on sarging! |

I move that this be added to the Glossary.

Personally this was the reason behind no #close with her.. i didn't wana get more involved with her.. And basically there were hardly any sets about, it was a Wednesday night so Location wasn't target rich at all. Thanks for the input. |

momstacle =Only thing you could have really done there was number-close and time bridge for a day 2. great word! worth adding to the glossary & urban dictionary. ... would the male/dad version be 'popstacle'? |

I think a popstacle should have more severe connotations. A girlfriend's father who extremely disapproves of you for one reason or another. In the case of my last relationship, my girlfriend's father thought I was too girly to be any kind of real man. Also, please note the regional variations of mumstacle for Brits, or even mastacle for us Scots. |
