Post subject:  mixed signals - continue to call?

This is continued from my post in JSmooth's online dating thread. Short synopsis:

- Met a girl on POF, messaged her, got her phone number
- Texted her telling me to visit while I play in a poker tournament. First time I did this she said she was too busy on weekdays.
- Phoned her on Saturday and told her to meet up with me to go hang out. She ended up flaking after, but said she would come visit on Sunday.
- To my surprise, she actually did stop by on Sunday. We only had 90 minutes to hang out, so we had a quick dinner, shot some pool and introduced her to some of my friends.

Monday: No contact through most of the day. At night she texted to ask how my day was going.

Tuesday: I was busy through the day, no contact.

Wednesday (today): I texted in the morning and asked her when her lunch break was. She responded she'd be available after 1:30. I called at 2pm and she said she was eating with friends. I said cool, call me when you're back on this part of town (we live in the same side of town but she goes to school on the other side). 8pm now and she hasn't.

At times she seems to be interested, but she doesn't seem to respond to texts and phone calls and commitments a lot of the time. Is there any testing I can do here? Is it possible that by calling I seem too needy?

Dont call yet bro - seems needy. And when she calls... let it ring out and call her back in after a couple of mins - say "sorry I was tied up"..

Wait it out for a little while.
Play it cool for the moment - easier said than done, I know.
