Hey guys, i recently have been learning the mystery method and i am just a little bit confused about routines. First of all... what is the purpose of routines? Is it to build attraction? DHV? is it to start a new conversation thread? or what? second... when are they used? |

I use the Mystery Method quit a bit, and have for the past several months since joining the forum. First of all... what is the purpose of routines? Is it to build attraction? DHV? is it to start a new conversation thread? or what? second... when are they used? It can be used to build attraction, comfort, and DHV. Yes you can use routines to go from one new conversational thread to another. have I totally lost you yet? Let me explain. Let's say, I normally don't do this but for purposes of a point, you open with: "Hey let me get your quick opinion on something....I can only stay for a second, cause I'm here with friends...Do you believe in ESP?" Start the ESP routine stuff. Then you can immediately launch into, stacking forward..."I really have to rejoin my friends...but before I go....(Too the obstacle) Let me see your palm for a second...Don't get any ideas I'm just going to see what your future looks like..." Then you can add another here if you want. So to answer your questions you may use this in any of the 3 steps to the Attraction Phase. It really depends on the routine and where you want to insert it. ESP is a routine but I've seen people open with it. The cube is a cold reading routine that I've seen people use in A2 with the obstacle to ignore the target. I've also seen the above routines used in A3 to express interest back to the target as well. You could be using the cube telling her qualities about herself and all the while saying "I admire that in a girl..." showing interest back. Typically, though most of your routines are used in A2. They are used to capture the interest of the group, all the while you're ignoring your target. When she becomes interested and starts trying to get your attention that's when you in turn can neg, and use disinterested body language. Heck, I've even seen these routines used in Comfort Phases to fill in some gaps in time. Really it's all up to you and where you'd like to use it. Hope this answers your questions. Anything else man, just PM me. |
