So how do you guys keep a girl in the friends with benefits zone when she wants to become your girlfriend: I can usually logically find a way out of many of my problems, but this one has been giving me some trouble. Any advice would be appreciated guys.

Can you give any more details? Personally, I've been in this situation before... I tried the subtle approach of "anything more than friends would break what we have already - if we were to move to the next level it would never be the same if we were to break up - I couldn't allow myself to get into that situation." If that didn't work, then it becomes "Even after I have told you how I feel, you are still so eager to push things on. It's not fair to put that kind of pressure on me. Feels like you have just ignored everything I said, so I'm wondering if you really see me as a friend after all....?" Hopefully, if she is a friend, she will know to back down and keep it in the friend zone. If not, then she dosen't really care about you and so you should slowly distance yourself for a while. She will hopefully understand eventually - time really is a healer.. Hope that helps! Good luck "G" |
