Post subject:  Myspace Brilliance?

I've only picked up a girl once while at a club. Ever. I've never really tried ... and I'm sure I wouldn't have been too successful, anyhow. Sure, there were a few times when I was a bit tipsy, anxiety-free, and charming - but I didn't think like a PUA at the time. Nothing of what I said was calculated or had intent.

That being told, I've always been incredibly successful online. If I can get a girl to reply to my original message, I can almost always get her to give me her number - and from there, anything is possible. There's something fantastic about being able to sit down, take your time, and "say" exactly what you intend.

As a result, I've managed to "lie with" many beautiful women that I've met off migente or myspace. Sure, I've tripped and fallen many of times because I was too foward too quickly ... but that's where this website comes into play. In just a short amount of time, I've applied the little I've learned thus far .. and it's had powerful results.

But my main question is ... is being an online PUA worth bragging about? Surely it takes some skill - having a firm grasp of the written language, especially. But there's no social dynamic. The fear of rejection is practically none.

But isn't hard to argue with the results?

Women feel "safe" on a website like myspace. They're more accessable. Comfortability can be achieved over a mere day or two of constant written dialogue. Their personal pages tell you quite a bit about their goals, friends, and lifestyles.

Still, there's something satisfying about seeing someone you want in person, and making it happen. Every day we encounter beautiful women - what are we supposed to do? Hope and pray they have a myspace page we can find? And that's the main reason why I'm reading The Game and all the related literature.

Thoughts?

Getting a response to your initial hello is key.

In the past, I'd write somethin' generic like this:

"Hello there. I think you're absolutely adorable. Definitely get back.

xoxo,

Paul"

Some would respond. But I wouldn't get the return I expected.

Well, today, I sent out the following note:

"Name,

Hmm, you're kind of cute ... for a myspace chick ;)

But how's the personality?"

No signature.

Thus far, EVERY girl has responded.

Here's a few:

hey man, yeah....i've recently been doing myspace gaming. I opened with

hey, i'm not really into this myspace scene but you're cute enough to wonder if you're also interesting.

-Brendan

Out of maybe 10 girls i got 5 response. But those 5 girls SEEM like actual interesting girls where as the other ones were just the tanned up/beach going ones.

How fast should i escalate and how?

So far with one girl we sent each other about 3 messages each. How should i go about giving a SOI , and wanting to get off this internet and get together in person. I don't want to do too many messages back and forth over the internet b/c my goal isn't to cyber sex obviously. ANy tips?

Man, the hardest part is done.

The great thing about being online .. is that you can flirt a little bit harder than you would in person. Sexual innuendo and online conversation go hand-in-hand. In some cases, I've been very foward - and have had it work. In other cases, it's ruined opportunities. You got to do your best to read the tide. I'm going to post a conversation I had today with a cutie from myspace:

*Keep in mind, the conversation reads backwards.

THIS IS MY NUMBER (***-****) I'V BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH IT ALL WEEKED IM GETTING IT FIT I DROP IT IN THE POOL..

Celtic fan - NO question. I'm leavin' work in a few to go watch the game with some friends. I think the series will be over Tuesday night. But we'll see.

You're daughter is a cutie. She must take after the father ;)

Sure, you can add me as a friend .. but I don't do internet buddies. You'd have to become a movie or drinking buddy or somethin', haha.

I use myspace to stay connected to my friends, and never met a female off here. They all come off as a bit cheesey.

I'm hoping you're an exception.

By the way, that picture with your nephew giving the finger is absolutely hilarious.

See how I made sure I got the cell? From there we can flirt more. Text. Always get the number before you push the envelope.

From there, I always set up a full body massage. It takes some skill. I'll have to post a conversation where I set it up. Look for it soon.

In my experience, internet game is ok, but with heavy reservations. If you're A. handsome B. well-spoken, then C. you're in there. Simple as. It should work every time, in fact. The trouble is IRL, where you can't take 45 minutes to formulate a flawless approach or a flawless response. IRL, you don't even have 45 seconds. Maybe 4 or 5 seconds, but not 45. So if you see that girl looking at puffed kashi in the tree-hugger aisle, you have to go get her right now. Same thing in a club. Myspace or anything like it just isn't like that.

You are right though. It can be incredibly easy, given the right set of circumstances (i.e. a few good pics of you and some clever turns of phrase). I would say that if you're golden online, then take that confidence boost into the grocery stores and the laundromats and the coffeeshops and the clubs right now, remember it, then use it. Even if your online game is flawless, don't fall in love with it because obviously it is completely different out there IRL. So you'll need to be able to translate your game. Use that boost to your advantage.
