hey, i am going out sarging in a club. this will be my first night game attempt. My main goal of the night is to concur approach anxiety. I dont really have any good openers. so i'd really appreciate some generic, tried, tested and true openers and material i can use. so far i got: the jealous bf routine, the 5 questions game, the best friend test, and number guessing routine. advice would be appreciated. |

This is an experience that I had the last time I went clubbing: I read The Game about a year ago, and just came across this website. It's awesome and a lot of help. Last year, just by mirroring Style's techniques from his book, I was able to successfully open and continue on a conversation with a HB and her two friends. If I remember correctly, the sarge went something like this: I was wearing a black button-up shirt from Banana Republic, popped the collar, put on a pink tie, and fake magnet earings (all this was for peacocking of course). Got pumped, and went out to this new club with some friends for college night. As soon as I stepped foot in the club I had to turn on my game. I started smiling, and going around shaking people's hands thanking them for coming. Towards the middle of the night, two of my friends needed to use the bathroom, I knew where it was I walked them over there. On our way over, I saw a two set, a guy and a girl, dancing. I pointed my friends to the bathroom and told them if I am talking to a girl, DO NOT COME UP TO ME... The guy was all on the girl, trying to kiss her and shit. The girl was tolerating him, but didn't kiss him. I knew that the guy wasn't her boyfriend. I had a chance. I approached the set opening with "Woah, looks like the party's over here" and I quickly turned to my target and said "If I wasn't gay you'd so be mine." At this point, I got two responses. The first, the guy was like "that was the best line I have ever heard." The second, the HB started flipping out yelling "OMG you're GAY??? OMG but you're SOOOoo hot?!" and all kinds of other shit. I never thought that disqualifier would work. I then followed with the neg "How do you roll with her, she's so chatty?" Then I made some small talk. Asked how they met eachother, found out that they just met. I was able to dance with the HB and the guy went away. Then her fat friend Debbie Downer came over and said something stupid. I then tried to dacne with her but then she walked away LOL... but then I told the HB I had better get back with my friends and said I'll be back.... This was stupid. I should have numebr closed.... The club closed 10 minutes later and I couldn't find her again. Good luck! |

Oh god do yourself a favor and don't use jealous girlfriend. That's seriously becoming the new "Hey baby what's your sign?" pickup line. Here are some I like to use for night game: > OMG where'd you get that shirt? (then, go into a DHV story about how your ex girlfriend had the same one but left it at your place) > Is kissing cheating? (not as overplayed as jealous gf) > Hi! > Have I met you yet? I'm (insert name here) > (open with kino like patting them on the head as you pass by) > Hey baby what's your sign? jk about that last one. |

alright thanks for the advice. I never used the jealous bf routine before, but i have it in my arsenal incase i ever run out of material. As for night game i find is a lot easier to approach women than during day game. However, due to the SPAM (especially loud music) it is difficult for me to pick up. I approached this 2 set last night and i could barely hear what they were saying. One girl had on a yellow dress and i negged her saying she looked like a banana, but i dont know if she heard me. any advice for soft spoken guys like myself during night game? |

If you can dance, ask for a dance. If it's a hip hop club, easy on the grind, unless she initiates. You'll have lots of opportunity to talk after the song, and you can bring up the moves she used as filler and neg material to fill in the holes during conversation. |

bout the music...that's what i was wondering 2...dunno about clubs in other countries, maybe they have more relaxed SPAM but here ''disco's'' are so loud u actually have to scream at a persons ear so she or he could hear you. |

Being a soft spoken guy in a night game venue is like being an ice cube in a volcano.Work on that vocal projection, man! And, here's a secret that not too many people know... It doesn't matter what your opener is. You can open with anything. |
