Is that a heart? She's not your girlfriend, so don't do that. Ever again. Stop being so damn nice. And stop rewarding her for disrespecting your time. Where is the logic in that? You're supposed to punish her when she does shit like that to let her know you don't tolerate that kind of SPAM. Saying "oh its fine we have all summer, its ok if you shit on me just this one time" then being all nice and friendly and using up all that conversation material you could have saved for your day out together is the WORST thing you could have done. Now she thinks you're a really nice guy and it'll be easy to get out of having to meet up with you because you won't give her shit about it and that you'll stop asking eventually.

Instead of talking to her for an hour after her making an excuse to cancel your plans you should have said it was cool, thank her for letting you know, and that you're gonna go make other plans. Then you should have changed your status to appear offline so you wouldn't have to talk to her any more. You are supplicating to her needs and she has you chasing her, when she should be the one chasing you.

what the fuck is this shit? this is the some sappy, mushy shit right here. she has you eating out of the palm of her hands. if she says "roll over and play dead" i wouldnt be suprised if you did. if you ask me this whole conversation is rank and you should probably toss the bitch and cut her out of your life. first off, she wanted a poem. you're mindset should be "you dont get a fucking poem unless i get what i want from you". second, dont EVER, EVER compliment her. For the whole grandparents thing, you shouldve basically said, oh well thats too bad. i had awesome plans, i guess ill have to take this person instead. she's always there for me. she doesnt deserve a heart, a poem, or your time so dont fucking give it too her.

Dude, no offense, but that is possibly the most AFC thing I have ever read on these forums. From the start of the conversation she had you doing whatever you wanted for her, you sent her a poem? What the fuck was that about. There really wasn't a single definitive IOI in this conversation, and the reason for that is basically you are her bitch. You need to make sure she knows you are the prize, not her. She has to work to get you and should be honoured that she gets a conversation with you. After she blew you off for her Grandparents you stayed and talked to her for an hour, I would have been off, telling her I was out with my friends, or some other girl. You used a semi-opener, about beauty being common, but you were so deep in shit by then it wouldn't have worked on an HB2. You shouldn't be complimenting her or sucking up to her by saying how much she interests you, how close you want to get with her etc. Thats all bullshit, don't do any of that stuff again. You don't compliment until you get some clear signs on interest from her. This girl wants a real man, not some pussy that sends her poetry on demand and sends a heart at the end of the conversation. You need to work on your inner game, know you are the prize and not her. Go out, sarge a few girls, hell, work some online game on a few other girls. AIM does not constitute as a FIELD. Stop dwelling in your comfort zone and get out of the house. And try not to talk about your band with girls. It makes it seem like you're trying to impress her. If you are saying, "I can't not talk about my band with girls, Chief! If I do that, how else am I going to show girls that I'm a cool guy?" then I suggest you quit your band and rejoin it only after you get to stop relying on statuses and other external sources for self-validation. I'm a guitarist and I've been in a few performing bands before, so I know exactly what I'm talking about.

fuck man, theres an actual turning point in the conversation where you can see where it starts to go downhill. its too personal/deep this early in your relationship as it sounds. and that poem? seriously man, you took a page right out of the book from robert frost, an infamous poet. i havent read one of his poems in 3 years and your first 2 lines gave it away instantly. if youre going to steal material at least take it from something few people have heard of, (also the problem with canned lines these days). i suppose the convo started out alright, but eventually it was clear that you lost ground and she lost interest and got weirded out. its evident when youre doing all the talking and shes giving one word answers and sarcastic remarks despite the effort youre putting into the conversation. your best bet would have just been to cut the shit as soon as you saw the turning point instead of trying to redeem/save yourself right there on the spot. i dont know what your status is with this girl but from the looks of your post its not looking too hot. your best bet is just to cut off ties and then make some other honey
