I was thinking should I start wearing Cologne, like you know when girls hug me they find that I smell nice. But i heard something I'm not sure if its true, like Mystery was saying that colognes and shit actually push women away from you because it telegraphs "too much interest' and that you should put the opposite, "female perfumes" to attract more women because those smells appeal more to women??? |

Iv never heard that. i acctually just baught my first bottle of cologne yesterday, an expensive one, and it smells amazing. I think its important to smell nice because its easier to attract a women by attracting her senses. smell is one of the 4 senses. so its just as important as what you say, look like, and how you touch her. my cousin is big on colgne and he always get compliments from girls of how nice he smells. And yes he gets girls. |

lol i have... Armani Acqua Di Gio, Versace Dreamer, Dolce and Gabbana for men, Givenchy Pi, and Azzaro Chrome (least favorite)...ive heard it's good to rotate your colognes because then the women u are around on a daily basis will WONDER what you will smell like (it makes sense i guess) but i just like to wear them because i enjoy smelling good |

ok, there are 2 things that im always getting complemented on by girls, and one of them is my collogne. Everytime a girl gets close to me, they always say "you smell really nice". I have gotten this comment from complete strangers. What im trying to say is, even though I usually like mystery's theories, I have to disagree with this one. I have tried many different colognes, including all of the ones mentioned above me (except for the versace), and here are the two that have gotten me the best responce are "Aqua de Gio" and "Perri Elis 180". To tell you the truth, I have gotten at least twice the complements with 180 than I did with any other, so I really recomend that one. Whatever cologene you go with, I would definatly recommend that you wear one. -Zeus |

I use the layering / douse technique which most girls do. Shower with a gel that is scented - put cologne on before I get dressed, and after, and especially on and around the ears so if you are in close quarters and she has to whisper to you she smells it. I also am complemented all the time on how nice I smell. |

I think you may have read something wrong. He did say that adding a feminine scent in along with your own cologne suggests you have women in your life, and demonstrates preselection, but he never said that wearing cologne was a bad thing. Unless of course you completely shower yourself in the stuff, that is. Making an effort to smell good doesn't telegraph interest, it demonstrates that you take care of yourself. It's just one of the many puzzle pieces that add up to the overall you. Just pick something you like and squirt a little on before you go out anywhere... personally I have a bit of a collection going, I think there are about 15 different fragrances sitting on my bedside table. Girls always notice them and I like to get them to pick their favourite... that way I know what to wear next time I see her, and they always react well to it. Very good for push/pull.

Guys, don't wear cologne. Half the time you put too much on and it's overwhelming. Just make sure you don't stink - that's all you need to do. |

when a guy puts on cologne, there supposed to spray 1 quick spray on each side of the neck and thats it. no wrists or ears. that for girls. you you do put it on your ears, it fucks it up and you smell bad. |

I don't believe for a second that men shouldn't wear cologne. Most guys wear wear too much, and most guys choose poorly. Stunna, my extensive thoughts and advice based on a lifetime of extensive experience with cologne here. |
