I have initiated contact with a hb10 on an internet dating site. I have just received the password for her profile pic. She wears glasses. Should i say "Cool... you look beautiful. You are stirring my librarian fantasies?" Too early to neg? Do negs need to be done in person... with a cheeky grin? should i keep it up my sleeve for later? |

That's not a neg. One you are telling her she is beautiful, showing she is the prize. And two you are already saying you are having sexual images of her in your mind, making her out to be a piece of meat. A neg a disguised insult, that really isn't insulting. It's just on the line but not crossing it. Delivery is key when doing a neg. |

yeah dont say that. a slight neg for your situation which i think is pretty good is "you know, i think you would look better with your glasses off. but i like them on too." she wont be creeped out by that and shell probably either try to validate herself to you, which would be an IOI, or agree with you so you really cant lose. But i wouldnt imply to much sexual things until you, A: meet her, or B: know her to a cirtain degree. |

A neg is a negative comment, with a positive as well, also called a backhanded compliment. "Those glasses make you look like a librarian...maybe a sexy librarian though." |
