Hey, Im new to this and I have quick question. Is it normal not to hear from a HB after a date? I have been on a few dates, but I never hear anything from her after. I get IOI's on the dates, I txt her once in awhile, but I always have to initiate the convo. I think that she is into me, and she is not a shy girl. Is this just what HB's do??

They very rarely start conversations. It's in a womans dating programme.

For example: in what romance novel is the man apporached and swept of his feet by the woman?

It's in their phschology to let the male be dominant in the relationship. But make sure you don't confuse dominance with "being an ass".

It's kinda dictated by society and nature that unless you're in a relationship the male generaly leads the way.

Depends on how hooked on you she is and then how forward she is. If she is reserved and expects the man to make all the moves, then she probably won't initiate, even if she is hooked. On the other hand, if she's really hooked and has no problem being forward, then you can expect to hear from her.

My last gf would text me all the time without me texting her first. She would text me on the bus ride to work from my place in the morning, she would call me on the ride home from work in the afternoon, but she's fairly forward and was definitely hooked.

A girl I met at the bar a week and a half ago called me to let me know she was gonna be at the bar I said I was gonna be at on Wednesday and that she wanted to meet up with me. She told me to call her after she left my place that night and before I got around to it on Friday she already ended up texting me first.

There's no clear cut rule, it's all based upon people's personalities.
