I always hate it if you approach a set in a club, and you have to yell in there ears for them to hear you, and vice versa. Then it gets all awkward if they dont hear you like, "WHAT!?, whatg!?, what, talk louder i can't hear you!" I know there is not really a way around it, besides approaching girls furthure from the music, but ive also heard its bad to be a close-talker, aka, a person who is right in your face when they are talking to you. any general advice on any of this? |

Yea, we are all in the same predicament. I have learned just to be a lot louder without actually screaming, i am loud anyway so that helps. Quote: also heard its bad to be a close-talker
That's not exactly true. At first don't peck, but after a while it's the perfect excuse to get up in her ear. When you can't hear the HB it's a good time to neg/tease. Like "speak up mickey mouse" or whatever. The main problem is that your voice gets hoarse if you talk a lot! One night due a cold I lost my voice completely. I actually got a good laugh out of it. We convinced these girls that I was a mute, and... it was just too funny. I actually got their numbers, how funny is that... Then i spent about 30 min. writing notes with a hired gun, the girl that takes the cover up front , man, she was banging! So the notes thing is def. fun, and different. |

Speak from your diaphram, it will carry your voice more so that they will hear you better. Also, although pecking is bad, there is nothing wrong with getting in close enough that you are talking right into each other's ears, it gives the chance for kino, the key is to get your body in close, not be leaning in. |

Never thought about it that way, but now that I think of it, all the times I've spoken to girls in clubs, I have found the kino starts pretty quickly given that you do have to be very close to hear each other. Good point Rye.
