Im new to this forum, one of my first posts so hear me out.. heres my situation... overall i am a pretty shy guy.... i am very outgoing if im around people i know. but when it comes to girls im very shy and dont talk that much. the occasional times i talk to girls im interested in i will have conversations where it seems like all it is is small talk.. i never seem to move the conversation to the next level. Im thinking that all the girls i know believe im a nice guy and thats now my reputation. With this reputation my confidence has kinda gone down due to the nice guys always finish last routine... now even if i try to be a jerk the nice guy in me still comes out cause thats my personality. im just looking for tips or suggestions on what i can do to pull more chicks, change my reputation, and how to overcome this shyness with girls... i need to get out of this being a friend thing |

There's no one thing for this, just read up, learn what it means to be a PUA, absorb the mentality and learn the principles of how to interact with girls. To be perfectly honest, I'm a hella nice guy. Seriously I don't think that will ever change, because at my core, that's who I am, I don't have animosity to people and the world, I've had some shit in my life, but through it all, I still love people for all their flaws and so I continue to try to make life better for all those around me. I met a girl at the club last night, got her number, had her totally into me and then saw her outside after closing crying, sitting alone on the curb, so I sat down, held her and comforted her and gave her some life advice. Now I may have blown myself out because of being such a nice guy, but even if I did, who cares, she needed someone to be nice to her at that point and I'm not gonna turn a blind eye to a person in need. Now, when I get back from my trip in a week and a half, I'm gonna give her a call and I intend to meet up with her and end up f-closing her. Just cause I'm a nice guy, doesn't mean I can't make girls crazy attracted and get laid, you just need to learn how to calibrate it. |

Wow, i can understand where you're coming from. I was like that back then but now I'm learning to collaborate both of my unique aspect together to complement and balance each other. To this days, I'm thankful that i given a chance to understand PU and it help change my life so much. _Saiko |

nice guys dont always finish last. Sure its true sometimes, but i think the flaw in ur game isnt that you are a nice guy, but the fact that you dont escalate. You need to slowly do something to show that its not just a casual conversation. incorporate some keno, or stare into her eyes a little more. let her know what you want, however not bluntly. And most likely once you break your streak even once, your rep will begin to change. That nice guy will eventually be that smooth guy, that all the ladies want |

I second that above. You can still be a nice guy, have you heard of Alpha Nice guy? I believe charisma arts / juggler coined that term. Shyness- the only thing with that, that will help is just getting over it. You know people that can't swim the best thing is to just push them into the water, at first they struggle, but they don't drowned, with time they learn to swim and be calm. I hope the metaphor is understandable, and not over the top.
