What have you been reading up on specifically? If it was largely canned materials or NLP methods that only teach you lines and attraction models but don't teach you the core mechanics of what a woman is attracted to in a man's behavior that could leave you high and dry. The lines alone aren't all that effective, you need to understand WHY those lines attract women so that you don't need them and simply know how to create value for a woman and act in a way which will attract her in any situation. - Chris

God, so complex! My main problem is fear and putting it into practice! it's like I know so much yet can't break the mould. p.s. I've seen bits of mystery and generally internet guides...My main place is at school which also sucks... Anyway, cheers

just try to block and fear so it wouldn't get to you, beside what's the worst that can happen  also i know what help me is to just do it out of enjoyment rather than result, cause to be honest everyone makes mistake and we all learn from our mistake _Saiko |

My friend, after I started learning how to attract women I spent almost a year and a half in your situation. I also know exactly what you mean when you say that school sucks for picking up girls and it's simply not true - school is one the best places for picking up girls. For the first couple of years of HS this was far from my reality however. I would force myself to make small talk with girls I thought were hot only to have them not spare so much as a passing glance. No matter what I did I couldn't get a woman to give a shit about me to save my life. The only way you are going to feel confident braking the mold is if you feel confident that you have something in your social arsenal that works - that's why I inquired about whether you knew the core mechanics of attraction. Once you get the core mechanics you don't need canned materials - they become great examples to learn from but you know how to handle any like a natural and make conversation over anything at any time. When you understand how to act around a woman school is extremely powerful - it only looks bad when you don't have the skills to play it to your advantage. you can sit down next to a girl on the first day of class and use a basic opener and attract a woman within the first 5 minuites of the first day of school and everything changes; suddenly it's like a seduction haven. Suddenly every time you see this girl in the hallways she smiles at you and stops to talk to you. - Chris

Although this logically sounds like a sound idea some people have emotional conflicts from the past that completely prevent them from simply blocking out fear. Emotions are the most powerful human experience and they can overcome all else - including logic. I used to believe that the worst that can happen would happen every time and I would never succeed therfore it was not worth even trying.also i know what help me is to just do it out of enjoyment rather than result, cause to be honest everyone makes mistake and we all learn from our mistake _Saiko Not everyone has a grip on their reality enough to simply walk away from mistakes. For some people it is an involuntary emotionally shot to the stomach every time they fail. Don't get me wrong I respect and appreciate your opinion completely but fear isn't always voluntary or conciously controllable. - Chris

agreed, the inner game is the most important part then the rest become easier and makes so much more sense. I recommend watching David DeAngelo for inner game help. I am struggling with the same thing however, how do you attract/flirt with girls in school, some "lines" would help! |

Anyway, cheers This forum can help you to understand what women find attractive, and how to convey and display those qualities to them. I think that you'll find that some of the main qualities include confidence/assertiveness, humor, friendliness, and happiness. They want someone who is fun to be around and who is outgoing and unafraid to approach them. It sounds to me like you need to overcome AA [approach anxiety]. So, basically, you need to be more comfortable around girls in general. So, don't let any of the first impressions that you have made on some girls stop you from meeting new ones-- they don't know what you are like, so if you approach them with a confident smile and maintain a fun interesting conversation, you may very well find yourself with some new friends of the female gender. Obviously this isn't the easiest thing to do in the world, but don't sweat it. With practice and help from all the really cool people on this forum, you should be able to improve your social skills dramatically! |
