K alright i know this is probably a frequent question. I've known this girl for about 3-4 months casually at school and we get along pretty well and I like her, and my friend tells me its "obvious" that she likes me but I'm not so sure. Today she came up to me and told me my hair looked really nice (i responded by saying "I would say the same for you... but I can see your roots", i teased her about dying her hair a week ago) and so now I think i should ask her out. how should i do this? keep in mind i'm 16. |

Try telling her "Hey, I'm going (place), you can tag along if you want." If she says she can't then don't try to reschedule. Just tell her "Maybe next time...if you're lucky" (don't forget to smile.) -There are better PUAs on this forum than I, but this is what I suggest. |

You just negged her for an IOI. That is a no-no. You escalate and qualify them for an IOI. You neg and remove kino for IODs.

Make sure she knows that it's a date. How you let her know is up to you: "There's a party at ___'s tomorrow. You should tag along with me. It'll be lots of fun, there's going to be music and dancing and a free make-out session with me in ___'s closet." Or "Let's go on a date." |

LOL!!!You usually don't neg after she IOIs you, but I totally condone what you said. That's hilarious! ...but you should have given her a hug and said something like "haha you know I love ya. Thank ya darlin." after that. Quote: "Let's go on a date."

Find something you really want to go to and get excited while talking to her about it! Then try to see if she makes any insinuations as to her coming, or else giving you other indicators of interest. Then throw in something like, "Oh, you should totally come with!" (Make sure you say "totally" because your 16 and I hear young girls like that kind of stuff...I'm just kidding. ) |

Im 16. and I just asked out a really hot girl also, I simply got her (this is to see if she wants you) to give me a hug everytime she sees me. Then one day i whispered in her ear "Wanna know what would be really really cool?" and she replys what? and i say "If we were going out." Thats it. Don't take her out. Today i told my girl "my shoes are so dirty....wanna pick out some cool shoes for me at the mall?" That will be our first date. |

haha you shoulda just said thank you. i dont neg after a compliment. but anyways, whether your on the phone or inperson, this works either way. just tell her "you should be my gf" most of the time they respond with "really? ok!" |

hmm yeah thanks guys but it is just high school... its not an insult, people do it all the time and btw she didnt actually dye her hair, it was just a joke between us |
