I've learned there is a major difference between the two and its important to keep in mind the differences. I'm sure a lot of you already know this, but I'd like to share it anyway... A lot of girls I met I seem to throw negs at quite a bit, usually in a funny manner. However at times when girls give me shit tests, I seem to reply in a very cocky, I-don't-give-a-shit-about-you attitude. At first I thought that I was conveying my higher value by not caring what this person thought...but doing that too much I found that after a while, I was simply being a downer. Of course, there should always be a balance to all of this. Sure, you are challenging her, but whats a challenge without any reward? Also, by acting too much as if I wasn't phased...I think girls picked up on me 'pretending' that I didn't care. However, this month I've been getting a lot better responses now when I respond to shit-tests with something funny, or something I do a lot which is turn her shit-test around where I pretend to misinterpret her shit-tests or IODs to me as flirtatious. By me turning it into a joke, this shows that I also don't care about her shit-test, while at the same time I'm making it into something funny that she laughs at. Also, because she is now laughing at me having challenged her shit-test, she now realized I am an interesting challenge - not simply a cocky jackass who might be brushing her off to defend my own insecurities. I never lower my value by being their 'puppet' who is always willing to play with them no matter what they do to me. Rather, anytime a girl gives me shit, I attempt to turn it around into something funny. If they are persistant, I do show a willingness to walk away, however instead of a "fine, screw you" attitude, I leave with a "mann..you're just like my bratty little sister", I've also used "you remind me of my nerdy little brother whos always miserably failing at trying to insult me...gosh he's such a loser", and then I smile while walking away. I guess its just a style, but it seems to be personally working for me better this way. Of course, if a girl is simply being a total bitch, then you can put her in her place - but you probably wouldn't want to keep talking to her anyway so you wouldn't care to continue the 'game' with her. |
