I have a really strong AFC character when it comes to people I am really fond of. I do have a very confident and alpha personality but I am still a bit of a romantic at heart.

When it comes to someone I really like I really have to control myself from falling into the AFC zone. I keep trying to vizualize Mystery's Cat String Theory in my mind to avoid expressing too much interest too soon.

Its best that I act busy, non-needy and alpha most of the time, correct?

When she texts you "im bored let chat", or "what did you do today"

would you just ignore them, or respond saying "im busy right now lets chat later"

You don't have to ignore them completely.
Just let some time pass before you text back.
You'll often get another text after a while if you don't respond.
I usually wait about a half hour or wait for a second text before I respond.
Unless I'm in class then I'm just bored enough to text half the time.

Just text her back: "I was _______. I didn't get your text til now"

If she texts more than once go with something similar then neg her for being impatient if its appropriate at the time (this will depend on the connection you've made with her).

Thanks man. Are there ways to avoid the boring text convos like what did you do today? We told each other a lot of DHV stories and I dont want to fall into that boring zone.

I have a lot of pet names for her: weirdo, nose picker, beef cake... i think that helps to make things much more fun and non afc.

Sometimes I ignore texts because i dont have anything interesting to talk about.

Well if you feel like you really don't have much to say just make an excuse to end the conversation. Tell her you have to go to the Gym or get in the shower or something. Then if you don't respond she can't get mad and if she does she will always get over it.

This will make sure your conversation doesn't get stale and you won't bore her. Stray away from the "what are you doing" or "what did you do" convos.

Got it man. She asks me those questions!

What are some sort of general topics you could bring up over text?

Do you believe in mind reading?
Get your hands out of your nose!
Stop thinking about me and hit the gym
There was this crazy fight outside my building
So tell me, would you rather be feared or loved?

Do you believe in mind reading? <-- better used in person

Get your hands out of your nose! <-- Perfect!

Stop thinking about me and hit the gym <-- maybe, is she self conscious at all?

There was this crazy fight outside my building <-- Might work, how close does she live to you?

So tell me, would you rather be feared or loved? <--- again, would work better in person

You seem to have the idea down. See what works and what doesn't.

two things [i'm not sure if this specifies to you specifically, but it may if you think you may act AFC]:
1. it's not a bad thing to show emotion once in a while-- in fact, showing emotion can be extremely attractive to women as long as you're not an emotional wreck, AND in LTRs-- showing emotion/appreciation is beneficial

2. don't lie about being busy-- it can catch up to you sooner or later. that being said, if you are busy, don't jump to answer a text/phone call, just remember to do so later. also you can try to turn something like "what did you do today" or "im bored let's chat" into a more interesting convo:
e.g. "what did you do today?" -- I went skydiving with Elvis. [it shows that you didn't take the question too seriously.. if you want you can add something that you actually did]

I lied, 3 things... don't overanalyze stuff like this! A girl in all reality won't care if you respond right away or respond ten minutes later, or an hour later!! They realize ppl have lives and that sometimes they can talk and sometimes they cant. If the rest of your game is strong, texting isnt going to screw it up!

Thanks guys, really great info.

Here are some I have been thinking about...
1) "So are you scared of heights?" (can lead to sky diving, theme park or bungee)
2) A reply to "what did you do today", "the usual fighting crime and trying to save the world, and I even had time to buy a new ring."
3) "what the meaning of life" - not sure if you could pull that off without body language

Well when it comes to regular convo I guess there is a lot more to add in
1) Fear loved
2) Mentalism
3) Meaning of life
4) Travel - Listen lets say you had 2 million dolllars and you could travel to any three countries which would you pick and why
5) Game: You say three statements one of which has to be false. I will try and guess the incorrect one
6) What kind of toys did you play with as a child
7) Do you have a movie that you love but refuse to admit to anyone? ( WIth that if she answers yes I think the best move would just be ignore the answer and move on) Perhaps you can DHV yourself to make it seem like you are more sensitive with something like "see I have this one movie that I love. I watch it all the time, but I cant tell any of my friends because I am sure they will always use it against me."

Would love to hear from you guys.

1) "So are you scared of heights?" (can lead to sky diving, theme park or bungee) <-- Good.

2) A reply to "what did you do today", "the usual fighting crime and trying to save the world, and I even had time to buy a new ring." <--- replace ring with shoes or something and that would be great.

3) "what the meaning of life" - not sure if you could pull that off without body language <-- Probably not

Well when it comes to regular convo I guess there is a lot more to add in
1) Fear loved <-- good to get a little reading on them from their responses

2) Mentalism <-- Where are you going with that?

3) Meaning of life <-- probably not something to discuss like that unless they tend to be really into philosophy or you get the feel that they would like to talk about something like that.

4) Travel - Listen lets say you had 2 million dolllars and you could travel to any three countries which would you pick and why <-- good for reading

5) Game: You say three statements one of which has to be false. I will try and guess the incorrect one <-- Great

6) What kind of toys did you play with as a child <-- Depends on where you go after that.

7) Do you have a movie that you love but refuse to admit to anyone? ( WIth that if she answers yes I think the best move would just be ignore the answer and move on) Perhaps you can DHV yourself to make it seem like you are more sensitive with something like "see I have this one movie that I love. I watch it all the time, but I cant tell any of my friends because I am sure they will always use it against me." <-- good for the most part. A good transition statement.
