So, I recently learned about the concept of Emotional Peaking. It's loosely defined as a girl who talks loud and laughs to get a man's attention. I was in the gym boxing, Not even paying these two chicks any attention, when one of them kept talking about her boyfriend (basically yelling). "My boyfriend this" and "myBoyfriend that!" She just kept saying it for like 20 minutes.There was no one in the room except for the three of us. The funny thing is, she would flick her hair (preening) and light up as I walked by. She really seemed like she was trying to get my attention. Is this some sort of weird mind fuck? Anyone Have an experience getting mixed messages?

Was she saying good things about him or having a moan. I expect it's the latter.

Should of made a comment like "Surely he's not that bad, the sex must still be good"

Then she will either laugh or she will rip his poor sex performance. If she does that, then she has already put you at high value and you have sexualized the conversation. From there it's all about not talking yourself out of a potential SDL.

Not a mind fuck, she wanted you to approach. Good chance of a quickie in the showers from what you describe.

You bottled it, she put it on a plate for you.

That's the thing, she wasn't bashing him, she was bragging about all the stuff she and him were going to do. She was even talking to her friend about how he boxed too and all that jazz. Almost like she was looking at what I was doing and saying her BF did the same thing. The weird thing though, they started talking about how they were going to be alone on the holidays drinking...Just the girls, no BF (couldn't be that close if they don't spend the holidays together). I don't know...I am still trying to decipher this cryptic woman Jargon.

If you wanted to approach them approach them. All that "preening" "peaking" stuff is bs and a waste of time. Smile, she smiles back...approach. Heck, at least start a conversation with them. Its a waste of time to get into these concepts and a simple approach would tell you more than anything.
